I don't know if my plateau is over, but I finally dropped another pound after three weeks of nothing. I don't know if my body will let me lose 5 more pounds by Valentine's Day, but I am going to try. What's the next challenge? St. Patrick's Day?

Calejo... You are doing great, 3 more pounds off. I don't remember but I'm thinking you've probably lost more than anyone of the Valentines challenge. 11 pounds? Keep up the good work! Web... Congrats on getting off those dreaded plateau's. I hate them, but when Tom is gone you might have a nice surprise. You still have 15 days left and you can accomplish a lot. Well I am up a couple lbs. after a Fri. to Monday week-end of partys, dinners and guests. I don't think I'll make the 10 lbs by Valentines but I won't quit trying. Hopefully I'll drop this added weight quickly, never quit trying!

Well, add me to those who've hit their V-daY goal early. Yesterday I was 146.6 and this morning I was 145!! YAY!!
So my next goal is Easter - I'm really hoping I can hit my final goal by Easter. it's an average of 1.25 lb a week - which in theory is doable - but we all know how these things pan out don't we. Plateau city!! Still, only 12 lbs to go so it can't take that long surely! Come on the rest of you - you can do it!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: |

I'm still hanging in Bobbi....I posted just a couple posts before you.
Got to lose 2 lbs. to get back to my 5 lbs. off I had so it will be a long shot but I'm stepping up the exercise...that might help. Congrats to all of you who made your goal already....Great job. Phyllis |
I'm still at my 5 lb plateau and I haven't been doing much to break it. I've got to buckle down starting tomorrow. No point in saying I'm going to buckle down on superbowl sunday right? I think I can get close to my v-day goal but I don't think I'm going to make the entire 10 lbs. Darn it.

Well I've lost 3 pounds of my 8 pound Valentine challenge. I'm okay with that because I've had some not great days and I could have exercised more. Anyway a loss is a loss and I can actually tell the difference in my clothes. I was able to put on a few of my size 8's this weekend!:carrot: I'd like to lose another 3 before I think they will fit comfortably. Anyway maybe I can make my goal by my b-day of Feb 28!

Ok, down one pound this week. Had a horrible workout week, but not bad on the eating, which may be what saved my butt (literally :p). I've had a very stressful week, but I'm determined to get back at it. I'm going into kick-@$^ mode.

I think I finally broke my plateau. Or I just got back on track. It probably wasn't a plateau, it was probably a bout of laziness and less than desireable eating. Well, I've been back on track since Monday and I've lost another two pounds. I've got 3 pounds and 7 days. I just might make it yet!!!

I've lost another pound and have another 4 pounds to go before Valentine's Day. :^: Oh well, on to the next challenge.

Webweevil...You're chugging along and not stopping, good for you. Happy to hear the scale cooperating.
Same goes for Floridarusty, Lil Momma, stopeatting and Calejo. It would be interesting to see all the people that signed up for this challenge and where they are weight wise. I think any challenge works, even if you only lose a couple of pounds and not go backwards. I hope you all check in tomorrow with your total loss and we'll celebrate! :woo: |
After a weekend of really bad eating I was back up 2 pounds. Today I begged and pleaded the scale into saying 173 again and it complied but only if I stood with one to curled, my mouth held just so, two fingers crossed, and my hair in a pony tail. I'm sure you can all sympathise. So, I'm gonna call it 7 pounds of loss for the challenge. Not the 10 I was after but definitely a start.
