Naturally the scale is a pound UP from yesterday.

But, my boobs are killing me so I know it's just from good ol' premenstrual water retention. Bobbi - sure you don't want to come back to PMSing??

I will just stick to my caloric/exercise plan and hopefully see a nice drop once the water weight goes away next week.

Whew!!!! lost the 1.5 lbs. I was up from eating out....I was sure it was the sodium....drinking the extra water helped flush it out.

Will be very good today....Phyllis

I've been stuck on 150 lbs. for the last 5 days, the scale better sing to me pretty soon. I haven't cheated and drank all my water/exercised everyday. I'm so wanting to get in the 140's, but wishing doesn't work.
My calories for yesterday >>>>>1,109
Fat>>>>>>28%

Still hangin' in with 156-157...I have been walking for cardio instead of doing the elliptical and I think that has made a difference in my weight loss *sigh*
But, walking for cardio beats channel surfing for cardio

Good Saturday Morning Everyone! I'm on my 3rd cup of coffee and want to chat. Where is everyone, it's 5:45AM. You should all be up and putting your running shoes on, we only have 33 days left.
As of Monday the 8th-Today we have the following weight loss:

4Me ...4 pounds down
Floridarusty...3.5 pounds down
Electron...5 pounds down
Tami...3 pounds down
webweevil...5 pounds down
Paula...3 pounds down
Smart Butt...What's happening?
Diva...4 to go but we don't know what weight you started from so we don't know what you've lost for the Valentines challenge.
ennay...same with you, we don't know what weight you were at the beginning of the Valentines challenge, just that you have 3 pounds to go. Edited..........7 pounds down, WOW!
Bobbi...I'm down 6 pounds and 4 to go.
Next monday lets consentrate on staying within our food goal and eatting healthy meals. Stay away from junk foods and fast foods one week, just do it. One week and let's see those scales sing to us. :
Before you know it 2-14 will be here and when we look back will we be able to say, "I tried real hard". P.S. Robsia, didn't mean to leave you out, congrats on the 5 pound loss.

Well, I had a couple bad eating nights this week and am hoping that by my Monday weigh in down a bit. I did my 1 mile walking dvd yesterday and will try to do it everyday to help.

Thanks Bobbi for keeping track of all this. Everyone seems to be losing at least a little (except for TOM ladies) so let's get this moving everyone. Be interesting to see how much we lose as a group also.

Bobbi - well....I started it the day I made my NYG which was 160 on 12/17. So 7 down 3 to go. I try to keep weightloss at ~ 1 lb per week since I am nursing.

I joined the challenge on 12/23 - right after dropping 4 pounds in 1 week. My body hasn't been able to drop more since then, but most of the time in December was not great eating.

Since 1/1, I looked at my calorie deficit and I'm at 3327 - so I need a little more of a deficit before I'll see another pound.

I'm ok with the fact that I'm "losing" the challenge. I know that what I'm doing now is better than what I was doing before. That's enough for me right now.

Good Morning...just a short message, I have to shower and get ready for Church.
Saturday's Journal:
Calories @ 1,100
Fat @ 26%
Yesterday I finally dropped into the 140's, just barely at 149.5.. This morning I was down to 148 and I think it was a fluke! I'm not going to change my ticker because it'll probably be back up tomorrow.
Have a great day......Bobbi

Hi Bobbolink - We are in the same boat. I'm at 150 and trying to get into the 140's. This week I had pizza three different times and a gathering with junk food last night so I really did not want to weigh myself today but I did. To be honest, I was thrilled that I did not gain! I'm ready to get back on track!

Good Morning Girls!
This will be a short message, we're on our way outside to shovel snow.
Ennay... You're the leader, 7 pounds down, Congrats to you. What an inspiration you are, especially since you're a nursing mom and still losing weight.
Fl-Mom... I just roughly calculated and we're at about 45 pounds down total. We've lost lots of starters that weren't committed enough, I'm glad you all had the stamina to carry through.
Stopeatting... Yes, I noticed we're about the same weight with one huge difference. You have 4 lovely inches on me. I'm only 5'3", used to be 5' 4" but have shrunk with age. It feels good to be in the 140's.
Laura... Yes, it's possible to lose 6 pounds by Valentine's day but you're really going to have to watch it and exercise. We have 31 days left counting today, divide that by 6 pounds and you have to lose 0.19 pound a day or 1.3 pounds a week. Can you do it? We'll try to keep you motivated.
2 Frustrated... .25 is better than 'nutin! Is there something we can do to help you? Administer Chinese Torture, chain you up to a pole with only bread and water? You name it, we'll help you out.
SmartButt... Same goes for you!

Later.....Bobbi
