Hi Kathy! Yup, I've seen you around too! You are so right about the little things and how they add up! Sooo right!

Donna - any activity is good activity, so you were still ahead of me Monday, and an excellent deficit despite no exercise on Tuesday. Consider it a rest day and move on!

Valerie - you betcha on fad diets, I'm sure all your lbs will come off after a bad day or something silly like that, I know mine are afraid to come off unless they have 1 or 2 to go with them

Susan - wow, nice deficit! And isn't Ilene always brilliant? Thanks for posting the link.

Kathy - I have to write everything down always or I'll go back to "old ways." Even then, I still have bad times, but writing it down gives me that important feeling of control.

Deficit of 279 yesterday. Not the best. Could have been better I am sure but somehow even with no cable and no internet at home (yet) I am managing to slack off I ate a little better yesterday though (okay finished off the last piece of pie, but it's in my fitday ) and am going to make a trip to Vons today to check out their soups. I know if I was less lazy I could just make my own better tasting, fewer calorie and cheaper soups, but I am just in a soup mood and it's not going to get eaten if I don't buy it at this moment in time. Our kitchen in our new place is still really painfully bare of a lot of good food, so might add some brown rice, beans, and veggies to my shopping list today. We'll see, today is a new day!

Vanessa? Are you sure you want to hang around here? A dog's birthday???? Just kidding.

Oops got my posters mixed up ... Jules? How did you lose the 15 lbs? and how long did it take?
I lost the first five by changing nothing but joining Slim-n-Tone(Curves-like Gym)--New Year's Resolution was to give up regular coke and switch to water and that gave me a ten pound loss in January--I am trying to make better food choices and keep up with the water and exercise--until beginning the calorie counting thing I didn't loss anymore which is why I am excited about the one pound.

Jules ... How many calories are you taking in now? to acheive the 1 pound (which is nothing to sniff at!) a loss is a loss!

I win a boobie prize today. Have I mentoned that I'm not good with math? I fiddididdled and flirted around with my can of mackerel the other day, metric to imperial ya know? I'm not sure how I came to what conclusion I did but ... it's only a half pound of fish! I had to go back and tweak fitday. Eight ounces divided into four little baggies is 2 ounces each, right? DOH!
The moral to my story is .. watch your math gals! I had a marginally bigger deficit four of the last six days than I thought I did

Hi Everyone,

I was a bit high on the calories again today. I'm still adjusting to waking up early and spending the day at work. It's just I'm spending more hours awake and eating more. I'm not sure what I need to fix here.

Wednesday: 1872 calories, 855 deficit, 45 minutes

Hi Girls,

From since monday i've been having a deficit of over 1000 but yesterday i ate much more than i should have and my deficit 300. The good thing is that i have been to the gym for the past three days and from what i understand its not a bad idea to vary your calorie intake.
Hope everybody has a great day!!!!!!!!!

I about broke even yesterday. Was just plain hungry!
But I agree with Vanessa, that doesn't hurt once in a while.

Deficit of 381 for me yesterday. Doing a little better, but still not enough exercise. Supposed to get net at home tonight, hoping it all happens on time like it should. Life is going to be a little crazy these next couple weeks (esp. at work) but I am sure that will lead to better eating, I usually eat well when I am too busy to binge or snack

I was not good yesterday. Upon reflection, I guess I was more stressed than I thought. Weddings can be a financial toll on family finances!
I did however get my 3FC book and I started reading another book called Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle. So there are lots of thoughts and ideas floating around in my head ... as long as I don't nibble trail mix while I'm readin' and thinkin'.

I'm happy to say I'm back on track with doing my WATP, and did my weekly weigh in and I'm down 3 pounds for the week.

Yesterday, there was too much going on and too many people here for me to do much of anything right. I didn't get at any exercise at all .... however, I have a deficit of over 300 cals and my percentages aren't too bad either.

I'm going to do a total assessment thing today weight, measurements ....

Good work on the 3 pounds Michelle!
Donna, make sure you let us know how the new food's going.
