My goal in addition to calorie counting is to get a healthy ratio between fat, protein, and carbs AND try fullfilling as many of my daily nutrients as possible with a variety of food. Having said that, there are days when that's just not going to happen and I don't feel guilty as long as I practiced moderation. Today there were 2 things that I ate that definately mess with that ratio, a creme filled donut, and a scoop of icecream. I stopped at ONE on both. In the end, I did an hour of excercise and I still only ate 1600 calories. My goals are 1200-1800. I made it a large range on purpose. My average is 1400 (especially when I'm eating good). I don't advocate eating like that everyday (for optimum health), but I love that I don't have to feel guilty because I induldged once in a while.

My husband and I are doing Eucalorics (Calories Queens) together.

I love this way of eating! I'm eating the most generous amount of calories I've ever eaten in my life!

I've lost 9.5 pounds slowly, but who cares. Those pounds will never come back. Why? Because the way I'm eating now is the way I'll eat forever. The book Calorie Queens explains it all.

I too find this way of eating a breeze. I have a LOT more weight to lose, but I'm in no rush this time around; I know it will all eventually come off.

Default me, too

Dh and I are both dieting. He is losing more slowly, but he says he is satisfied, so that is of utmost importance. He said that he is finally able to accept that this will be a lifestyle change.
