Classes are over for me until mid-August and am devoting self to fitness and consistently moderate eating habits again. Posting this a little early; will update if anything else is eaten but not feeling well and am going to bed to read.

AND, the verdict IS ...
:joker: Up 1.2 from last Sunday to 128.2, no surprise as I ate a large meal quite late.
Am also upping fitness level with more consistency and whatever blah blah blah; the intent is to be superfit (for an overage college student) and at least closer to my weight goal when classes start up again in mid-August. The truth is I'm holding the line pretty well and ever so slightly trending down in my daily weigh-ins. I just need a little more consistency in keeping the correct calorie level for the weight I want to be at, while at the same time NOT depriving and falling into the trap of eating too low and failing to realize that food is good, important and one of the joys of life, at least for me. I could easily, because I've done it, restrict too much and easily drop weight but at this stage of the game, I know that is unwise and would not work to my benefit in the long run. That said, it's calories in/calories out (a law of physics, energy in/energy out) so will continue with my efforts to balance that, a challenge that is fun for me and that I can't really ever give up on as I would zoom right back up that scale again to where I was decades ago. Today REALLY is (I swear) Day 1 of yet another NEW STREAK OF UNDER 1800 CALORIES. It's all good. :hug: :belly: |

Exercise: 10,000+ steps; 5 min weights (wrist/forearms only) Easing up on the streak idea for now; obviously, mind, body and spirit are requesting that though the goals remain the same, I go about achieving said goals at a more sedate pace. It's important to remember to eat enough, or rather, to eat when hungry and NOT ever skip dinner, which I would have had to do to stay in the 1700s today. Deprivation and misery do not and have not ever had any place in weight management for me. I feel too well and balanced for that. :belly: |

Tale o' the Scale
Short and sweet: Sage2 is up .2 from last Sunday to 127.6 and she's happy with that.
It has been a heavily emotional week and except for one day Sage2 stayed below 1700 calories and exercised daily and took care of business in life without having a binge. It was a healthy eating week with no deprivation. The new streakity streak of under 1700 cals started yesterday and this is day 2. And. So. It. Goes. :carrot: |
