Default Anyone else sweat buckets?

I sweat more when I work out now. (note my handle... I notice this sort of thing) I am usually dripping sweat when I am finished with a workout. Soak through my shirt and sports bra too.

I didn't sweat this much when I first started out. Granted I wasn't working as hard, but I was also carrying 20lbs more than I am now.

Just wondering if an increase in perspiration is a normal part of the getting fit process?

I was wondering this just this morning (as I was mopping off my arms and neck). I've always been a sweater, but this is madness. I assumed that it was because I'm able to work so much harder, but maybe there is more to it than that. Hmmm....

Yes, I'm completely saturated (like I took a dive in the pool) when I'm finished with my 5 mile run. I LOVE IT!

very normal. I recently purchased a UFC training game for the xbox kinect as a home workout. and about 15 minutes in, I was drenched and by the end of it an hour later, I might as well have been standing in a puddle lol. sweat is good. means we're kicking butt!

Have you been drinking more water than usual?

That'll do it.

Everything is the same except my weight and what I am capable of.

And the sweat. The sweat is very different. I really hate it when it runs into my eyes (that stings) Or down the back of my leg (that tickles) Or puddles under my bodacious tatas (feels squishy)

I searched for an answer and supposedly as our bodies become more efficient at thermal regulation during exercise, which is a sign of increased fitness, we sweat more.

So this is a good thing.... I guess.... if I didn't hate sweat so much I would rejoice

I sweat a lot more also. Especially during zumba. You can see the outline of my sports bra after zumba!

This has been my experience, too. I didn't notice a change in my actual sweat, but I did notice there is a lot more of it! Maybe your body is detoxing? I'd just keep on with the water and keep an eye on it for the next few weeks. If it doesn't change, maybe you're losing a lot of salt when you sweat? Just make sure you're getting ENOUGH salt--it's a fine line! Too much, too little--its quite the balance, but your body does absolutely need *some* salt.
