    I made it through the first night of Passover tonight pretty well, but nearly all of my calories from today are just estimated (all the stuff in italics, lol). Still, it wasn't too bad. Now I just need to get through dinner tomorrow night, and then I can go back to making my own food to get me through the rest of the holiday!

  • Hi all I really need to get back on track! I haven't been doing good this week.. and I got ugly news from the scale as well I did okay today though.. avoided a lot of cake so am happy for that. Can't wait to just lose again.

    I am about to eat full fat ice cream for the first time in more than 3 months I bought some of the Haagen Daaz Five for my husband, as it has nothing in it that's not ok for Passover (as all the low fat ice creams do), and my calories and total fat were still too low today... so I figured I'll have a little of the ice cream too. I am adding raspberries though to get some fiber in (that's also too low today!). Still, my tummy is going to hate me for giving it dairy fat as I seem to have some sort of allergy... I'm thinking it will be worth it though, lol.

  • Chick: First on reaching your Easter goal!! So yesterday....Ugh I actually ended up having a small piece of the cake after all.. it was a triple chocolate mouse cake I don't feel too bad though because my calories were pretty low that day anyway so I figured it wouldn't do that much damage. Speaking of tasty treats Haagen Daaz ice cream is my HUGE weakness! I haven't had full fat ice cream in so long, you will definitely enjoy it, I mean you don't have it very often anyway.

    Okay so tomorrow I am going out to a Chinese buffet for dinner with family but I am feeling a bit unsettled. I thought it over and am going to make sure I do not use it as an excuse to binge. I've been to this buffet before so I know what's there, I am going to eat plenty of sushi since its very healthy and a huge salad with a lot of fruit on the side. I think I will fill up on all the fruit and veg. Luckily my family said I didn't have to eat anything that I don't want... since I warned them ahead that I am being careful with my diet right now, so for once I may do great at a buffet!
