Default My body fought me yesterday...and won.

Grrrr...I was PMSing all weekend and just wanted cake. Just some cake. I didn't have any on Saturday, but went to sleep dreaming of it and woke up dreaming of it, so I worked it into my calorie range for Sunday. I had 1/2 a piece of cake and my body hated it! I have been eating mostly natural foods for a while now, and I think the cake just threw my body out of whack and my stomach ended up sick yesterday and is still sick today. Guess I have learned my lesson! It just really wasn't worth it to be this sick. Blech. But I still love cake.

I've had the same problem when I'm on plan for awhile...if I eat something heavy/greasy/sugary, as good as it sounds and probably tastes, I know I'm going to pay! It helps me stay on plan, no need to pay on the scale for something that is going to make me feel awful anyway.

LOL...this is funny, I was just PMS'ng hardcore yesterday and found myself INSANELY hungry. I had met my calories for the day and all I could think about was something cakey or pastry-like.

However, I was able to have what I like and what satisfies me, both filling and delishous....my pre-prepared pumpkin raisin flax muffins! Not only are they very healthy, but they have almost NO FAT! I keep a batch frozen in the freezer at ALL TIMES. I eat them for breakfast and for a quick filling and tasty snack. My calories were still high yesterday (about 1700), but without my muffins, I would have surely gone completely perserk!
