I am not going to critisize you for the low number of calories you are eating, just a comment , since you are leading such a sedentary lifestyle I am not surprised you don't feel like eating so much. I would talk to my doctor and see what he/she suggests.
I was once on a medically supervised diet of 800 calories a day, This was prescribed by my doctor as my BP was thru the roof but it was only for a short period of time. I would not be critical of anyone following Doctor's orders,
