This is very timely for me!

I was just thinking that I'd love to be at GOAL by Christmas. I'll have one month to lost 7.6 pounds and I think that is totally doable. Especially since I have the feeling that my weigh in tomorrow will put me even closer to goal weight. I might only need 5 or 6 pounds to lose in the next 30 days.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone and welcome, Matt!

Of course I'm up for another challenge! I am going to be realistic about the holidays and set an attainable goal. I think I will shoot for 194, which will keep me well within onederland (yay!) and put me at 80 lbs lost for 2010!

According to my ticker, that's only 4 lbs...but I have a feeling I'm weighing a bit more after today! Going to get back on track tomorrow but stay away from the scale for a while...oh the games we play with our own minds, lol.

Looking forward to another challenge! One of the many things I'm thankful for

Ugh... the food was good but, I feel cruddy now. My body has definately gotten used to eating healthier. BUT that's a good thing! That's what I want. I will get back on track tomorrow.

I'm pumped for the Christmas challenge. For this challenge I want to:
1) not cheat
2) eat less processed/more fresh veggies
3) lose ten pounds

Let's do this!!!!

Welcome to 3fcs fg35!

I think your goal is too high though. Losing 21 pounds in 30 days, especially when you weight 181 is a bit much. Maybe try to lose 10 pounds?

I have been trying to lose the same 20 pounds for a couple of years. It is ridiculous!! I will stay on plan 2-3 days AT MOST and then just act like I forgot all about it until a couple of weeks later when I get fed up again. I don't know why I can't do it.

I am sitting here this morning (no work today) THINKING about exercising. I am a little disgusted with myself. So...my goal for Christmas is to......

STICK WITH SOMETHING FOR MORE THAN 2-3 DAYS!!

I know if I would eat a little less and move a little more I could EASILY meet my 20 pound goal for my daughter's wedding next summer. I know I would feel better and maybe get off of some of my prescriptions. There is no doubt I would look better too. I know WHAT to do....I just don't do it. Maybe this challenge is what I need. I hope to post on here on December 25th that I have been faithful to my eating plan and exercise plan. I think if I just eat around 1400-1500 calories a day and take my dog for a daily walk, I will see results.

My big goal: be below 180 (really below, like below 180 no matter what time of day I weigh in.)

My actions to take every day to get me there: plan my meals with in my calorie range, walk/run/yoga/hike every day.

I think it is totally doable.

Gooood Morning...
I'm ready to get back on plan for the month of December!

My goals:
-Stay within calorie limits each day

-Find a way to incorporate healthy food when friends are in town/when I'm away visiting friends this month, instead of constantly eating out and over indulging

-Avoid too much alcohol consumption... this is again a problem when with friends.. must find happy medium!

-Continue to train for 8k in March, with primary goal of improving speed/ completion time

-Start Bikram Yoga the week of Christmas (studio offers 30 days for $30 unlimited for first timers @ this location, plus I have a Groupon for 20 more classes... I'm good until Spring!)

-Reach Christmas goal of a 4lb weight loss, down to a weight of 122lb

Wishing you all a successful, healthy December!

-FPSJ

I'm in, again!

I had gotten down to 70.5kg / 155.4 pounds, but today I am closer to 70.8 kg / 156 pounds.

I'd like to keep my calories in check this month. I'll be working more, so I may face a few challenges, but I can do it. No letting them get too low either!

I'd like to keep my exercise in check as well! No fewer than 3 days a week, preferably 4 or 5. With more work, this could also be difficult, but I'm sure I can do it. Keep working on the jogging, I really am enjoying it!

For my weight - well I'd like to see the half way point of my goal and pass it. I've got a goal in another thread that has me seeing 66.5kg / 146.6 pounds. I'm not sure how likely that goal is at the moment. I'm going to set it in this thread for 67kg / 147.7 pounds. It's still quite a bit to lose, but I'll work towards it. We shall see.

Looking forward to another challenge with all you lovelies and new people too!!
