Down one more lb this week and as of this morning I have offically lost my first 5 lbs! In a little over a month, slow but steady. I don't think I will be hitting 12 lbs by christmas but I would love to be under 160 for chirstmas, even if its just 159.9!

Down 1.2 lbs since Friday. Must be the bikram yoga! I have lost 4.4 overall since the start of the challenge so 7.6 lbs to go.

Looks like I am having to work doubly hard for every ounce at the moment but it's a loss, another 1.5lbs. That's 7 off so far in the challenge, so I won't be meeting the 12lbs but it's been really good fun playing.

Most important is that it's that final 1lb required to meet my first mini-goal, I'm not obese any more! I'm probably not going to meet the goals set by the surgeon who cannot add up, but I bet he'll be surprised to see what a different this 18lbs has actually made.

Rose You are doing so great I think anyway! I'm only down 7 pounds as well... but I think we've both done great anyway - also reaching no longer obese is a great milestone - I think I just got there as well!!

I plugged your stats into the calculator and you are 29.7, so jump up and do a little for the grand "not obese any more" moment.

I am up but still in the 12lb loss zone which is awesome. I would love to get back down to 260-something before Christmas. Why I am up? Probably because of fasting and the one day off I had for my birthday. Now I understand why they say you should slowly work your calories up while enter maintenance. Though I had 3k calories on my birthday, my daily average intake was around 1800. No where near what is needed to warrant such a weight gain.

Oh well one day at time.

I just put in my final weight. Somehow I've gained 2lbs, but I've started exercising more and my clothes are fitting better despite this, so no complaints over here!

I didnt reach 12lbs. But I have lost 7lbs since this challenge started which makes me really happy! I am still aiming to be under 160 by Christmas. This morning I was 160.0 so hopefully after a good day of eating and session with my trainer tonight I will see 159 on the scale. That will be the best Christmas present to myself!

Good Morning! Just thought i'd step in this morning before I leave for the pool. Going to do 60 min of water arobics and 30 water jogging and maybe 30 of swim laps if this old hip thats been hurting let me. The soreness has gone but there seems to be a knot in my hip so I just got my fingers cross that I can get back to my excercising. Go to TOPS tonight will see what my weight is now and plus i'm going to be speaking on "Getting fit after 50" And yes I am very nervous. But I will be speaking on basiclly what ive learnt and been doing for my weight lost. Well got to get dress and go have a good day and i'll drop by later tonight and report in.

I might make it! I had a whoosh this week. I'm at 208.6 as of this morning, and 208 will be 12 pounds lost. I'm close!

Well congratulations to everyone and hope to see people over at the Valentine Challenge. We've lost a whole person! Nearly 140lbs off in 6 weeks, average loss of 2.82% bodyweight even including those who didn't manage to report back each week, top loss of over 7%, serious effort here everyone, and so many have hit the 5% target that makes such a huge improvement in your health, fantastic effort and see you on the next one. I won't be weighing in the first week because I don't have scales here, so fingers crossed, that first post-festive weigh-in OMG!
