Hey ladies! It's Monday here (actually not much of Monday left). I realised yesterday when I went over my calories from the previous day I'd forgotten to include the coffee w/milk and small cookie I had at my friends place on Saturday - so that bumped up my calorie count by about 70 calories which made it a slightly higher day than I wanted - kind of annoyed as I'd planned for Friday to be a bit higher but not Saturday too.

Just going to move past it though, it's a new week now and I'm on track. I don't think I've really been "off" track at all, but I like to be in control so forgetting to log a snack bugs me. Didn't exercise officially all weekend so I am getting back into it when I get home from work. I'm so sleepy and still have just over an hour left here - exercising when I'm done is the last thing I feel like doing but if I don't, I will regret it and feel bad. Plus I'm sure I'll feel better afterward anyway.

No idea what is for dinner tonight since my boyfriend's mum is cooking (a normal occurence in my life) so I've stayed at my usual day time level for calories.

Another good day for me =) no diet-straying! I think this is the longest I've ever held out on a pure fruit/veggie diet.

I aint sure what to do...:dizzy: Amelia I did up my calories one time when I was having probs & they helped me out tremendously But I was unable to keep up with the change ~they got me back up to 5 to 6 pounds a month....To many calories I guess of a change for me though...I am having that same probs now trying to up them...I may have to get some higher calorie snacks...Something that will not kill me (Be unhealthy LOL) maybe....a glass of chocolate milk or something to add some extra calories a day...I don't know. ANY SUGGESTIONS?
Gotta hide it from the kids though ~(the chocolate stuff cause they are losing weight great~We weighed Camila ~MY Daughter the other day AGAIN cause she was looking so teenie & her school clothes I just bought Back in August was getting way to big even the size small pants~that was just pull ones...She is 5'3" to 5'4" In height..And is approx 135 clothed~I always weigh naked ~So I would say if she weighed that way she would be most defintely in the 120's cause it was late at night & after eating & clothed when she weighed She is shaped a little different than me and a little shorter but we wear nearly the same size...she is a size bigger than me....That I do not exactly get. I weigh 149 with clothes/shoes/ect. I guess it's the height/shape thing...To me we look same size basically. Anyways...Im blabbing......Her ex is a nut I have learned supposedly ~This is hear say...May have raped his sister & stabbed his dad & threatened to kill 2 girls by bringing a gun to school at his previous school...And as soon as he got out of Kid jail(can't think Of what ya call it) HE moved to hear & Started basically stalking her now that I look back on it.....She finally felt flattered about it cause he seemed so nice ~then came the death threat when they broke up later (3 to 5 days later) The kid is dangerous...The poor hubby has been sitting up nightly...I getting told I am gonna have to go to court unless I send her back to school ~which I refuse to do..She will be 18 in may...I am enrolling her in Home school ~connections academy...But the process takes a few weeks to a month...the school is having afit..they act as though I am over reacting....I know the story I heard above ~Is somewhat true because his own mother speaks of it on myspace defending him....It's nuts ~of all the people in the world to come across...The school assistant principal even thinks I was nuts to tell him the boys may be a threat to other students even before I found the other info out About previous school..So HE basically rolled his eyes at me..My boys are in the elementary ~which is nearby ~I feel kinda unsafe for them too~>>>UGH KEEP ME & MY FAMILY IN YOUR PRAYERS OR THOUGHTS EVERYONE! I went to church last night ~Had a great time..(I rarely go felt led too)But they had it so cold in there with air conditioning I had asthma issues the whole time ~LOL MY LUCK Or my paybacks for cussing all the time. anyways I am again blabbing...Got an appointment in an hour so gotta log off ~TTYL!

Hello All, im just popping in for a bit. Im taking a rest day today from my workouts, i do plan on walking the dog later this evening. I over indulged yesterday and my stomach has been hurting most of the day today:(. But there is good news; went to Ross yesterday and tried on 3pairs of jeans. ALL SIZE 10. 2 pairs (calvin klien, Gloria Vanderbelt) were kinda snug but fit. I did find a pair of Lucky jeans that fit great, only problem was they were 40$! Not bad for a 80$ pair of jeans but no can do on our budget:dizzy:. I was kinda disappointed,arg. So i will venture out again next weekend and buy me my size 10's. Im almost there girls. One more size and i will reach my goal size of a 8!!

Lori-Wow on your daughters ex, sounds like he needs some serious therapy. I don't blame you one bit for taking her out of school. I will keep you guys in my thoughts and my prayers. As far as healthy snacks go...here is some things i eat for snacks:
yogurt w/berries/ old fashion oatmeal
almonds
fruit & string cheese
fruit w/low fat cheddar cheese (my fav)
light laughing cow cheese/ whole wheat crackers
anything w/peanut butter(lol)
popcorn

I hope its helpful, i can't think of anything else right now. I basically eat the same things.

Amelia, the News is quite depressing. I went to Ross on Saturday and tried on a few dresses found one I really like but it was a size 12 and DH said it will be too big by December. So I left that beautiful dress there. I found a size 8 but a size 8 scares me right now. Good for you on your 10's I love Gloria Vanderbilt jeans they always fit great and Sevens. :)

Aw envelope, thank you :hug: I am hoping to still get to 162 but I just don't want to focus on it :D So if I don't see it I won't stress, if that makes sense. I even erased it off my dry erase board, no reminders.

Jiggle that bloated feeling is awful :hug: you're doing great as usual :)

As for me I am finally back in the 160's after going back and forth to the 170's and seeing 171.2 yesterday from my Olive Garden lunch and my late turkey burger dinner :D this morning I got up to 168.6 ... hope the scale continues to move in the right direction :)

So I've been wanting to get some sort of home gym system so I can do some weight training at home (other than hand weights). And guess what?! My brother in law is moving and is giving his to us for FREE! We are getting it Saturday, I'm excited! The only drawback is we have to get rid of our foosball table to make room for it. Not so worried about it being gone as we hardly ever use it, just hope we can find it a good home. I guess craigslist it is!

Hope everyone has had a good Monday! One more in the books, lol. Well, off to do my yoga video...it's a "light" exercise day for me.

Hi Friends.....Well I stayed on plan today and walked during my lunch today. I am really lucky because there is a high school track right across the street from me, so there are NO excuses!

I want to say how motivated I am after I read everyone's posts and success stories! You guys are amazing!

1/3 cup 2% cottage cheese **90 calories
Coffee with 2% milk - 100 calories
1/2 cup rice pudding (no sugar)**60 calories
1 Youplait lite pineapple yougart**110 calories
1 Aikens energy bar**110 calories
Large salad with feta and bacon bits**450 calories
Kens Caesar's light Dressing - 4 Tbsps - 160 calories
Water - lots of water!
1080 calories

I made the salad not as healthy as it could have been because I added Feta Cheese and the Bacon bits, but it was SO yummy and my body was craving crunch!

Hi everyone! just going to say a short message tonight. Went to Houston to check on my parents and my mom is doing good, but my dad he is in bad shape. I dont think he even knew who I was. Alimzer (sry misspelled) is really bad. Went a little over today with the calories but not too bad. it was 1336 my limit is 1200. Im very tried so going to say gn may post more tomorrow after I rest. :grouphug: :dust:

Well somehow my weight jumped up up 107.1, my calories were 1400 yesterday. I don't think I would gain a pound from that. I have a feeling my legs are retaining water( have bad knees) I'm on my feet all day from 6:30am til 9:30pm. If I don't watch my sodium they blow up like balloons. Only had 1125 calories today cause I was afraid to up my calories. I'm in the bathroom every 2 hrs. so I'm losing water like crazy, the weight should be gone by tomorrow.

I'm on track this week for calories and I got a pretty good workout last night on the stationary bike - felt really good after the first 10 minutes were over! Today's (tuesday) lunch was leftover spaghetti bolognese from Sunday night - a higher calorie than normal lunch for me, so I'll have to make sure I make some clever choices come dinner time because I'm super hungry today anyway and since I'm not exercising either, I am determined to stay in my lower calorie range!

I'm already stressing a bit about my 24th birthday next week - my boyfriend told me I should just take the day off counting completely and have an extreme cheat day (on other cheat days I count everything and never go more than 200-300 calories over my limit) but I'm so scared to do that...any advice?

The past few days have been ugly, but I'm back on the wagon tomorrow! Still shooting for Onederland by Columbus Day. Glad to see everyone's trucking along. I'll try to check in daily as this thread really helps to keep me accountable.

:tread: Still plugging along. My husband and I talked on Saturday and made up :D:D. We went to the outlet mall and I tried on a size 12 skirt and but couldn't zip it up all the way. But that was cool I was just happy to get in it and not break it. I will be working very hard the rest of this challenge to get this weight off. I also bought a tankini top in a 12/14 but I think it will be too big by Christmas and definitely by the time we go on the cruise in Jan. I think I was scared. I will be going back to get the 8/10 as to push myself. Most of the work needs to be done in the mid section...so back to the toning workouts I go.

I see everyone is doing well and I will be posting personals after my lunch workout. Gotta get me and the young lady ready for the day.

Have a great on plan day and do all you can to be at your best.

Last week was a long bad week- My period controlled my life then I was sick so I did not even bother to weigh in yesterday, because I knew it would be out of control and totally depress me. Yesterday I got back to exercise and on my diet so I have hope to gain back control this week.

Glad to see everyone else staying so positive or shaking it off when they have a slip up. You all are great!

Have run two days in a row now. Tough runs after missing a week at the exercise for the same reasons listed by halfbakedlibrarian! So tough! Anyway, should have the opportunity to run every day this week and then off to San Antonio for the weekend. No more travel for a while after that! Should make it easier to stay on plan then - still bouncing between 163 and 165 but truthfully wasn't able to focus on plan last week. Better going this week!
