If you're thirsty, please drink!

As far as I know, drinking water does stretch the stomach, but only for a very short time, it immediately contracts again, that's the reason why drinking a glass of water doesn't really help when you're hungry.

I agree. If you're thirsty, that means you're dehydrated, so you need to drink the water. I doubt that water will stretch the stomach in the same way that food does. It stretches it, but only temporarily.

Water won't make you gain fat. I don't really know what you mean about your stomach "stretching," but if you're asking whether or not your stomach will become bigger, i.e have more fat, then no; definitely not. Drink water and don't over think it

I think she's more concerned about stretching her stomach so it takes more food later to feel "full". She doesn't want to feel hungry later cause her stomach will hold more.

The answer is No water won't stretch your stomach really.

You don't have to digest it. It doesn't stick around in your stomach. It gets absorbed almost as fast as you drink it.. which is why water is the best or quenching thirst.
