One of my favorite breakfasts (and pretty quick to fix) is 1/2 cup of lowfat cottage cheese, 1/2 banana, and a teaspoon of finely chopped pecans sprinkled over all. So, so, soooooo yummy and filling!

I also love sourdough bread. I will make a half sandwich with two turkey sausage patties, one slice of toast and a dab of mustard. Add a couple of slices of cantelope on the side and you've got a good healthy breakfast! You could use any kind of bread that works for you--I like the sourdough because my doctor wants me to eat a low glycemic index diet. But you could use any kind of bread you want. Quick and easy!

I like oatmeal with splenda and blueberrys. Quick and quite filling. Sometimes I'll have Cheerios with 1/2 cup FF milk. My other frequent breakfast is simply a piece of toast with one egg. One more idea, veggies with egg beater scramble with a little salsa.

I make an egg sandwich. Two slices of toast, cook one egg and top with that 1% 50 cal cheese which will melt from the heat of the egg. It's 225 cals and extremely filling.

Lately though I just eat a bowl of Total Raisin Bran w/ skim milk. 200 calories.

I love Kashi GoLean oatmeal - Truly Vanilla flavor with just some mixed in fruit either strawberries or blueberries. The oatmeal is only 150 calories & like this morning I had 5 strawberries for 18 calories lol.

I also rarely have french toast which I adore! I use 2 slices of whole wheat bread, egg (though u could use egg whites only) alittle bit of milk & then usually warm up some frozen fruit or fresh fruit- no butter or syrup. and it is oh so yummy and filling. For like 250-400 calories depending on what you make it all with.

Great replies!

I have 2 eggs scrambled with 1tbsp salsa, with ham on the side or a slice of toast with jam.

Yogurt with toppings like berries, nuts, honey, 1/4cereal, flax seed, jam, in any combination.

Nature Valley "Peanut Bar" - 170 calories if I'm in a rush.

On the go - hard boiled egg wrapped in a slice of ham.

My avatar picture has to be my favorite though. Ricotta cheese slathered on a piece of whole wheat bread, topped with chopped dried fig and diced tomato, drizzled with a little honey or agave nectar. I had it once at Le Pain Quotidien and been making it at home obssessively ever since. Pictured here alongside 2 fresh figs and prosciutto.

Nature Valley Fruit and Nut bar with a banana (260 calories)

2 slices lite bread with 1T peanut butter & 2 slices cantaloupe (240 calories)

1 egg + 1 egg white fried in non-stick pan(lightly sprayed) and 2 slices lite bread with 1-2 teaspoons mayo. (230 calories)

And if I really want something filling with the fewest calories, I make a serving of Quaker's old-fashioned oatmeal.(150 calories)

I just posted this recipe on the protein thread but since it's one of my favorite breakfasts (which is both super quick to make and really filling) I'll include it here as well.

1 medium egg, beaten
1/4 cup ground flax seed
1 scoop BSN Lean Dessert protein
1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Mix everything in a large mug or small bowl and add a little water to achieve a thick, batter-like consistency. Microwave for about a minute and flip onto a plate. Top with berries and enjoy!

330 calories (without berries) chock full of protein and fiber!
