Actually, In-N-Out doesn't have to be that bad. If you have them sub mustard and ketchup for their spread, a regular hamburger from In and Out is 310 calories. You can also have them serve it "protein style" which replaces the bun with lettuce and drops the calories to 240. It's still high in fat--what do you want, it is fast food after all--but as an occasional treat, it's not that bad. If you want to really splurge and get a cheeseburger, that adds 90 calories, still not so bad.

My favorite fast food is Panera. I usually find that half a sandwich is plenty and there are lots of choices that I can make work. I'm also a fan of Subway.

For a quick treat, I love the fruit and yogurt parfaits from McDonalds.

I haven't had occasion to try them yet, but I'm also excited about oatmeal from Starbucks and steel-cut oatmeal at Jamba Juice (topped with bananas, even, ). I can't believe no one thought of doing this sooner.

My favorite is Panera as well. It's so nice because they have every item on their website with all the calories and nutritional information/ingredients. So it's easier to plan ahead if someone says they wanna eat out for lunch hehe. Plus their broccoli cheese soup and chicken salad sandwich are soooooo good.

One thing that makes me sad is that their mango smoothie is so yummy, but like, 350 calories : (. I can't possibly eat it knowing that now. Maybe it's sometimes nicer to be oblivious haha.

I like panera as well. I can get half a veggie soup or half a black bean soup and half a veggie sandwich no cheese. Only thing is Panera has messed up my half sandwich by putting cheese in it more than once which makes me not trust them and its feta so its not like I can dig it out very well.

I was going to mention the In-N-Out Burger as well they will serve it without bun , lettuce replaces the bun. If I find myself somewhere where I have to have a hamburger I ditch the bun, if it is too hard to eat that way just keep the bottom half.
