dgramie, you did very well...congratulations.

I decided to have a feast today. It wasn't that the food overcame me or anything--it didn't. I had my single plate full and was done. My girls and I made a homemade choc. cake with homemade frosting and will be cutting it tonight. I am sure I will have a small piece of that too.

I am wondering how to "log" in my food journal since we ate at a rest. today. I am not sure what was in the things I indulged in so am not sure on calories either. Anyone have any ideas?

I decided bad data was worse than no data at all so I didn't log anything today because I really don't know what was in all the homemade goodies. I'm leaving my food log blank.

Back to normal tomorrow.

The family, the food, the wine.........oh my!

Leaves me feeling a bit sluggish this morning.....I hope and plan to jump back on plan today.....need to remeber this feeling....it doesn't feel to good....I prefer the light, radiant, energetic emptiness of a day on plan.....does anything taste as good as "thin" feels? Nope! Need to remember........Christmas is coming.

Lesson learned!

Water, water, water today to flush away the excess of yesterday. A nice looooooong walk and fresh air.....to clear away the chaos of too much....too much food, too much wine and too much talking!

Today is an important day.....it is a choice point as I know once the whole insulin-sugar thing gets started, carbs are more tempting and my body seems to crave more.

Taking it one day, one meal, one healthy glass of water at a time!

Best wishes everyone on this important day......Back Friday! And no that wasn't a typo....Back Friday meaning let's get back to our successful eating and exercize plan! LOL!

I didn't log yesterday. I didn't go crazy or overboard, and I stuck to the plan that I had, which was to eat sensibly, but not to deprive myself.

Today I need lots of water. I can definitely feel the effects of salt and carbs and sugar ... my fingers are puffy and I feel ... logy is the best way to put it.

I think I'll head out to the gym here in a bit and get some movement going.

I too feel more bloated and less comfortable than the past few weeks. Even though I've done pretty well calorie wise I'm eating fewer vegetables as I visit family and friends.

I'm really craving some Fuji apples and I miss my Nalgene bottle.
