Thanks! You have quite an impressive background and are getting even more education, congrats!!!

All the studies I have read and researched indicate the same, but with anything over 1 standard drink per day for women and 2 for men. This includes the latest studies presented at WPA conferences the last several years.

The difference in results may be that the research I am more familiar with is often more Psychologically geared (behavioral, addiction and health psychology) and cites disease risk as a correlating factor, but isn't the main focus of the research and studies.

Research is a fascinating field of study, and frustrating at times too, because it is so misunderstood and can be manipulated in a number of ways, which can be misleading.

LOL...thank you but my background is not that impressive. I'm 28 and my mom and husband tell me all my schooling was and is just an effort to delay real life and that I need to start to work at some point.

We would probably complement eachother quite well because I know very little about the psychology research aspect and that is VERY interesting. I agree with you 100% that many studies can be manipulated or if they are in good journals and show conclusive evidence, it seems 2-3 years down the road another study will refute it.
