Happy Hump Day Everyone!!! This week is going by nicely! Well the scale budged this morning, I had to take a peek, so I will go ahead and wait till this weekend to get the "official" word! I am so close to hitting the 20lb mark!!!!

Lovemyboy- Yay for you for losing 25 lbs so far!!! :carrot: Keep it up!!!

Meg- I love the dress!! It's cute! Stay cool out there, we did have some warm weather yesterday, but the clouds are rollin in today. And it's cooler out. I wish I could send it your way!

Charlene- You should do a before and after for your hair....
Boy do I know what you mean about not being able to get up on time, I constantly want to sleep in, but work calls! LOL
I used to do WATP, I had the 4 mile one...it does keep you moving. I liked it, it's a great way to keep cool by working out indoors.

CoolMom-Sorry to hear that your TOPS meeting was cancelled. The lentil loaf sounds yummy, I just recently got into lentils myself! :D

Zenor- Wow, so DH may be getting a gig up here in WA...that's pretty cool.

Well DF, we're not officially engaged, I only say that because I don't have an official ring, but we're getting close, we've been together almost 7 years, and he asked me a couple of years ago. Last week he told me that I'm either getting a Princess cut, or a Round cut. Though this week he asked me what is most important to me, color or clarity? Outside I'm keeping composure, but inside I'm freaking out. Our 7 year anniversary is in September...so who knows! I don't want to give my hopes up, but hopefully this year is the year! :fr: LOL!

CWU in Ellensburg. We've looked up the town online and it looks super cute! I have family in Washington too (Bellevue & Bellingham) so I wouldn't mind living there. The Pacific Northwest is so pretty too.

I remember that feeling really well! I picked out my ring because DH was living in a different town, but I didn't know when he was going to do it. He had planned to do it on Thanksgiving and then got impatient. :D So, I got my ring the day before Thanksgiving. May I suggest that you don't have a long engagement? Unless you can handle stress. I'm really glad we planned the wedding in just over 5 months. Ohterwise they would have had to commit me! Lol. When it happens will you post a pic of the ring? Oooh, how exciting!

Cals for today~ 1476
Fiber~ 53 (Hooray!)

Time for bed, but I wanted to post my cals before I went to sleep. I hope everyone had a great day!

CoolMom75 06-28-2007 06:17 AM

7 years!? Isn't that common law marriage by now? lol Jason and I were engaged by 6 months, pregnant by 9 months and married by a year. I always wonder what it would have been like to spend a few years with just the two of us, sans kids. <sigh>

cablgurl 06-28-2007 09:21 AM

Hi everyone!

The last few days have been great managed to keep calories under 1400 everyday and water intake has been 96oz per day. I was even able to enjoy a bit of ice cream at our staff bbq this week. I step on the scale tomorrow I hope I was able to lose, It has been a while since the last time i saw a major move on the scale.

Tinky009 06-28-2007 09:59 AM

Good Morning Everyone! Happy Thursday!

My calories for yesterday were 1606
And fiber at 32
75 minutes of good exercise

Coolmom- Hahahhaha, might I add we were dating long distance for 4.5 years, living with each other for 2 ! So by a small technically, we've only been "together" for 2 years! LOL :joker:

Zenor- Yes I promise to post pics of it, when that happens. We don't plan on waiting too long, we will probably have a small civil wedding or elope somewhere. LOL My dreams of a big wedding are gone...I came to the conclusion that it's a big waste of money, I could put that money towards a nice honeymoon and a house! LOL

Well have a great day everyone, the weekend is almost here! Woo hooo!

zenor77 06-28-2007 01:04 PM

Tinky~ After having a wedding I would suggest elopement to everyone! We did it on the cheap, but I would have been happy with a dress, my DH, and our family at the beach and going to a restaurant after. I wasn't the only one with opinions though. Lol. I got my end result, so I was happy either way.

Coolmom~ We were engaged quick too. After 7 months and married after 1 year. Sometimes you have to snatch them up quick. ;)

edzard 06-28-2007 01:16 PM

Yep we knew each other for 6 months, dated for 6-8 months, engaged 6 months (married for almost 11 now) and wished we had eloped! We had a smallish wedding and everything was homemade (we both worked at mcd) but the stress of it all killed me....but then again anytime I deal closely with my family I get stressed lol. Have fun, but just a word to the wise, it all depends on if you like the "idea" of a wedding.

Meg1989 06-28-2007 02:01 PM

Hi girls
Calories for wednesday: 1411
fiber:38 gr.
water: 14 glasses, 112 oz.

I also only knew my hubby for a short time. Met him march 18th. He moved in by June. married him in Aug. of 78". Thats 6 months from the day we met, till we married. (just short 6 days).
I will keep him. he is a keeper.
Heck, after all these yrs. who wants to teach a new dog, tricks.
He's all trained. ;)

we did not have much time alone either. married aug 11-78
had ds. sept. 79.
13 months before son was born. My family all just knew I was preg. when we got married ;)
we gave them 2 weeks notice. and got married by the local judge. He just couldn't wait. :D
Yes, I would do it again.

AnneA 06-28-2007 03:07 PM

Reading all this talk about marriage..... my first date with my husband was on Sept 2, 1989, we got engaged on Oct 31, 1989 and married on May 26, 1990. 6 months total. We've been married for 17 years!!

Everyone thought we were crazy for getting married after only dating for 6 months, but somehow, it worked! We were married 8 years before we adopted our son (who is now 8 1/2) so we had LOTS of time together, which I think is a good thing. Then again, it would have been nice to become parents a little earlier in life. I'm 46 with an 8 year-old, but I LOVE it! :)

Tinky009 06-28-2007 08:11 PM

Hahahahah look at what I started! Well all I can say is that I'm happy where I am now versus 3 years ago. Long distance relationships do make the heart grow fonder, but man it's no walk in the park.I'm also very lucky that he never gave up on me, when I was trying to push him away, and I also can proudly say that we have never broken up once during our whole relationship. Ok I shall get myself off the soapbox! LOL :soap:

Zenor- Oh yeah, I definitely want a low key ceremony. No hype, no fuss, I really don't want to turn into bridezilla! LOL

You all make me feel like I'm the asian version of Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell minus the kids and all! LOL

So how is everyone's calorie counting day? I decided not to work out today, I had a good enough workout running around at work, so going to keep my calories a bit low!

Minty Fresh 06-28-2007 08:23 PM

Hey everyone! Joining the fun here :)

Today
Calories: 1366
Fiber: 39
Fat: 36

Worked out at the YMCA today. I did about 35 minutes on the treadmill and 10 minutes on the bike. I'm really proud of myself since this is really my first week "exercising" regularly.

My husband and I have been together for 11 years (married 10). We actually knew that we were going to get married that second weekend we met. We got engaged 3 months later. :)
