I have recently looked at a few pictures of myself and I see a very thin person...but when I look in the mirror I see my problem spots--upper thighs being the biggest problem. My husband says--you can't even see it (to him it is miniscule). To me it bothersome. He says you have to stop because you are sitting on the verge of being too skinny. I am 5'6" 118 size 0 in most clothing....but I still don't feel like I look the way I want. Is anyone else having these issues?

According to BMI you are on the low end of healthy weight, if you lose even 4 more lbs you'll be underweight. I definitely can understand your husband's concern.

Everyone's upper thighs are larger, the largest muscles and bones in your body are there.

If you really think this is becoming a problem I really suggest possibly seeking a professional for help. They may help put things into perspective for you or help you see what you possibly aren't. I'm 100% sure if you posted your photo nobody would tell you that you have a problem with your upper thighs.

I agree that it might be time to seek some sort of therapy to help you adjust to the new you!

Being as you're 5'6" sitting at 118 and wearing a size 0, I can't possibly imagine your upper thighs being large AT ALL. I do agree with the other ladies to think about seeking therapy to adjust to the new you. You might still being seeing yourself as the old you..?

I think what I see is a small amount of loose skin as my thighs were heavier 50+ pounds ago. It is distressing because I have done toning--it has helped but maybe I just need time for the skin to tighten up again. I am also very small boned thus this weight is still in healthy range. Maybe I do need time adjusting to it all. I think when I have worked so hard--I carried different expectations in my mind for the end result (one without loose skin). I need to realize this is the way most real women look after gaining and losing a large amount of weight and having 2 children. Diet does not = hollywood body.
