I have enormous calves. Enormous. And one is actually more enormous than the other. That's the reason why at only 5 foot nothing and 120 something pounds I look (am?) so small. I am teensy throughout, even down right boney - all my fat is stored in my calves. It is very weird and very frustrating. But I have learned to accept.

Ahhh, I gotcha. Yeah, we don't have the snow problem in Georgia. It snows so little that last year, after it snowed "good" (for GA) there was a Facebook page created called "I was there when it snowed in Warner Robins in 2010!!!)

last year for the first time, after trying a zillion brands - I was able to find fleece lined galoshes that were mid calf and fit!

they were Tretorn, and I think they were mens. I could even tuck my jeans into them and my calves are like 15-16in.

Does that mean you can't wear knee length dresses?

Just curious. I wore a knee length dress around the 4th of July and was horrified at the pictures, and I'm really liking pictures these days. It just accentuated the calves horribly!
