Wyllenn, your comment about buying clothes in other countries reminded me of a trip to Asia I took while I was at my highest weight. I have never had a more depressing clothes shopping experience in my life! 99% of the population of Hong Kong is stick thin and finding anything bigger than the equivalent of a US size 8-10 is basically impossible. Same goes for pretty much the rest of Asia. The only place I managed to buy clothes was Singapore, and only because the stores were foreign chains! I even bought a sarong in Thailand that was too small to even close around my waist at the time. Now of course I can nearly wrap it twice!

Of the 50 countries I visited during the two world cruises (I was the on board artist) I only bought one thing to wear. It's a goreous Chinese black jacket with an orange and yellow dragon embroidered on the back. It's lined in orange silk and it feels wonderful to wear. I bought it from a street vendor and haggled it down to $13 US. It's really too big for me now, but I don't care, I wear it anyway.

What I do now is wash my jeans then hang them up to dry to prevent the snug fit. If they are a little stiff from air drying then I'll just steam them with the iron and presto. Now I have to say, I wore my jeans today and felt like they fit a bit looser than before....such a great feeling!! I love it
