Hi y'all....I got the DVD for Christmas and used it for the first time yesterday....and it definitely kicked my butt! But I like it. And I don't think it will get old fast, like other DVD's do....

I just finished the strength training portion and it kicked my butt! I think that the part that seemed easiest, the crunches, were actually harder because I've been cheating and use a ball to do them and when I did the video I didn't have the ball.

Tomorrow I'm going to do the cardio portion.

Red face order/combination of workouts?

I have down a couple of workouts from this dvd and I LOVE them. But I'm a little confused.

under the 6 week plan menu, it says to use workouts 1 & 3 for weeks 1-3 and workouts 2 & 4 for for weeks 2-4

Am i supposed to combine and do two workouts from week two on?

I'm thinking that might be an error that no one caught. The reason I think this is that it is a 6 week program but there is no workout listed at all for weeks 5 and 6. I think they meant to do workout 1&3 for weeks 1-3 then do 2&4 for weeks 3-6. Not really sure just guessing.

What kind of workouts does this DVD have? Crunches, pushups and things like that?? Do you have to have anything extra like weights? I just saw this on NBC this morning and was glad to have found "real" people that have reviewed it. Thanks for any information.

I think you have the option to use handweights in the strength training portion, but it is not a necessity.

Yes you can use handweight in the strength section but you do not have to. You can pick up some at walmart for little to nothing.

Thumbs up more info

you don't need anyweights for either of the cardio sections.

for both of the strength parts, they use one set of weights (your preference, but it look to be between 3-10 lb weights)

There are four preset workouts with warm up, work out and cool down. Then you can combine any of the pieces into your own workout.

I just did one of the workouts from this dvd last night. I love it but now I'm in pain! My legs feel like cement! Did anyone else have pain in their legs like this after doing the low intesity cardio? Maybe it's just cause I haven't really ever exercised. Not like that anyway. I want to get the book. Has anyone read it? I need some recipes cause I don't know how to eat healthy. And it aint doin me any good to work my but off and then eat the junk I eat.
