Why Do I Want to Lose: Because I became a new mom 2 years ago and again 8 months ago and I was mortified when my daughter wanted me to go down the slide with her last summer, and I was afraid I wouldn't fit. Never again will I let my weight keep me from participating in my daughters (and son's) life. I WILL go down the slide with her next summer!!!!!! I also don't want her to remember me this way. Only from pictures when she asks.. who is that mommy??
Weight Loss History:
Yo yo dieting. Started gaining weight when i was 16. I was a very insecure teenager who hybernated in my room and snuck foods. I've lost 70 lbs twice in my life and got 3/4 of the way to my goal. Like Erik said on the Today show after he won.... I'm a big starter but a failure when it comes to finishing. i see that finish line and give up. Well NO MORE!!!!!! I'm going to finish this journey!!!

Weight Loss History:
This year has been the first real weight loss plan I've ever been on. I've been doing LA Weightloss since June. I started out at 204 and now weigh 155. My goal is 135, 20 more lbs. This challenge may just get me there!!

Why do I want to lose: Because I have many expensive dress clothes in my closet and all size 8's. I want to get back into them, I refuse to buy new clothes that will fit me now. The weight has to come off!
I've gained about about 30 pounds over the last 1 1/2 years due to an injury that had me in a leg brace for months. After I got the brace off, I just kept gaining until I ballooned up to 160 pounds.
I can't wait for this to start!

Why do I want to lose: I'm tired of being overweight and I am tired of being the heaviest person at work, at parties, at the store etc. etc. Weight loss history: I lost 90 lbs. on low carb about 7 years ago, I kept it off for 2 years then gained 70 lbs. of it back. I am currently lower than what I was on low carb and actually the same weight I was in high school. I am doing good in the weight loss part, but now I need to start exercising and firming this bod up.
Why do I want to lose: Improve my endurance/strength, be able to do 20 regular push ups without collapsing, control over my binge/emotional eating, fit into my white levis from 1993 :-), and of course swing from the chandeliers when I reach goal

Why Do I Want to Lose: Because I want to be able to buy clothes off the rack that fit, not be out of breath by the time I reach the top of the stairs, regain my health, among other things!
Why do I want to lose: Have you heard the line "the first day of the rest of your life..." well, I don't want to be chunkie/fat on the first day of the rest of my life!
Weight loss history: Lost 20 on my own once, gained it back and then some. 193lbs was my max, and size 16 was getting tight. Refuse to shop at the big girls store, so here I am, at 167 lbs, I fit into 12!! Very exciting. My goal is to fit into size 8, only time can tell. Since Thanksgiving my weightloss has slowed down, I wonder why? So I'm hoping this will kick me back to gear, and reach my goal early next year!

Why Do I Want to Lose: Health & comfort & pride
Hi, I am 29 and 226lbs, I have lost and gained a few times befor,and am currently at my heavyest weight ever. I am just starting a low carb, gluten free diet and am finding this sooo difficult. I had to quit working due to naussia, drowsyness headachs, etc. so now i am just sitting at home getting fatter!
I have celiac's and have been on gluten free diets befor but always "fall of the waggon" so to speak. I also have hypothyroid (hashimotos) and recently descoverd this could be effected by celiac's so Im quitting the gluten yet again.
I know the first few weeks are going to be the hardest.
I have also been fighting with depression for many years. I know I'm not the only person with these problems trying to lose weight and it's nice to know there are groups like this for support. I need to get my health back and weight under control so I can go back to work or live any kind of decent life.

Why Do I Want to Lose: I have a wonderful husband who I still have a serious crush on...I want to be as healthy and attractive and energetic as I can for him! I also have a son who is a Marine (so being overweight next to my buff son is humiliating), an 11 year old daughter who has to be conscious of her weight (so I want to be her role model) and a 2 year old daughter who is severely autistic and needs her mommy to be heathy for as long as possible.

Weight Loss History - At my heaviest a few years ago I was 251 lbs. Joined WW and got down to 197 and then got pregnant with DD#1 and then pregnant again with DD#2 when she was 8 months old and got stuck at 235lbs. I got tired of looking in the mirror and feeling down so joined LAWL on Sept 25 of this year. I started at 219lbs and have lost 32 lbs and 18" thus far. I'm enjoying the new me and want to keep at it to reach goal and also be as healthy as I can be.
