Default Blue Team 2012 Fall Back To Basics Chat Thread Week 9 (10/22-10/28)

Hi team I hope you all got to WI on time

Good job to all the losers this last week and here we go onto week 9....can you believe we've already been going for this long....wow time flies.

I know this is true just from the way the seasons changed and the crazy snow has already been flying here. We're supposed to get another 10-15cm from tonight to tomorrow night. So hate the snow

Well it's 111pm and I need to work on the morning so i will say goodnight and talk to you all tomorrow.

Let's have a great OP week with at least 3 days of exercise each

Hey ladies! Congrats to the losers this week Just a little update, my dad came home today and he's very stable, we've got him on IV's and stuff still but it's looking really good. That being said, I think it's time to start focusing on myself a bit and getting back on track! Here's to a new week!

Congratulations EofAZ, amany, Angie, and Leslie for being our biggest losers this week.

PageLynn I hope you get the woosh your looking for.

Think fit I'm glad to hear your dad is home and doing better that's awesome

Well we're in for 15-22cm of snow overnight and I'm so not looking forward to this at all. I already took the bus this morning as we had some rain and snow just enough to make the roads slick. I did make the most of it though and it was an okay afternoon so I walked home instead of taking the bus and it counted as my workout. I took the long way but I sure got home quick....in 37min. It's only 2.5 miles according to my app.

Well better get some rest it's time to do it all over again tomorrow.

Congrats again to all the losers for week 8

GO BLUE!!!

I cant seem to get myself to go to the gym. I havent had this problem before... I think it is because I took a week off and really enjoyed it! I still lost weight and I had so much free time!
Say something to me to get me back in the groove blue team!

What a week, actually the past two weeks. I have been so busy at work that it started infringing on my personal time. But the event I coordinated at the Dallas arboretum was worth every second. If any of you live close enough to Dallas to visit the arboretum don't miss the opportunity between now and the end of the year. They have a beautiful glass art exhibit displayed all over the entire 60 acres. Add in their autumn pumpkin exhibit and the whole place and fall flowers and it is just such a lovely experience.

Anyway, on with the challenge. After last week I wasn't expecting much this week. I guess I don,t always trust my scale and when it registers a larger loss then I'm afraid it was a scale error so I hold my breath the whole next week hoping I don't either gain it back or the scale correct itself. Well this week my loss was a little more typical for me so I am happy.

PageLynn-awesome on the 178.6. Funny how moving past that zero can make you feel so wonderfully. For me I focus on ten pound increments so passing by each zero is similar to a check mark on a todo list. I feel such a sense of accomplishment. Keep up the good work.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Hi sorry I've been absent for a few days. My eating is so-so and not exercising as much this week...only 3 days. Still lost .2 so better than a gain.

My mom goes in the hospital tomorrow for surgery so I've been getting things ready with her all week and long days at work so it was a weird week. Also going to visit a friend who's in the hospital so it will be a long day today.

Don't forget to WI and have a great day everyone. Sorry for the short post.

I ended up down .7, I started TOM the other day so I might be retaining some water but the previous couple of weeks were really really slack for me so I'm pretty sure that some of my upswing was actual weight back on. I did really bad on the exercising front this week but my eating was decent.. I really, really need to focus! I don't know why it's so easy to get off track when it's something you want so badly.

Bigmid - I definitely know how you feel! I'm 100% here for you if you need to talk Hope everything goes well for your mom and friend, hospitals are no fun ever.
