Hope everyone has a good start to the week. I will try to have results posted by tomorrow evening. I'm having some problems with the spreadsheet because it does not work on my personal computer, so I'm going to have to find another computer to use to edit the spreadsheet. Look for results tomorrow though.

I am committing myself to healthy eating today. I have been eating way too much food lately for someone trying to lose weight. Yesterday was a birthday celebration for my daughter. She picked the menu but I did the cooking so there is no reason I could not have filled in the menu with some healthy choices for people not wanting to mess up their weight loss plan-meaning me of course! No terrible harm done. It is just the trend here. Since vacation I find myself sliding back to old habits. A little more wine here, potato chips there, just one cookie etc, etc. Unfortunately, it all quickly adds up. I think I need to restrict my totals for a few days to make up for the big meal yesterday and just get myself back on track. I am going to try for very clean eating. Fruits, vegetable and protein without the extras I always allow myself. I don't know if I can do it though but of course it is worth the try.

Hi ladies. Just got home and showered after the gym. I rocked it today! 1 hr free session with a personal trainer for strength training, 1 hr spinning class (I thought I was going to die!), and a 1 hr zumba class.
Just writing it is amazing to me. I honestly didn't think I would make it through 15 minutes in each of those classes but I totally made it all the way! I'm feeling great! Hope everyone is doing well. I'm going to try to fix up the results soon I promise!
I got up and out the door early this morning, drove to the park and walked up Kennesaw Mtn. What a great way to start the day. The scale was up this morning I am sure due to my lack of discretion this weekend. Hopefully I can make up for it this week and get back to eating the right amount to allow for some weight loss. In the meanwhile, I am loving the time spent working out.

My self on the other had have been making healthy choices, and the scale is dropping which is finally nice to see! I even splurged and had a small root beer slushy... (it was freakin amazing) Im starting to get more and more exercise in which is making me feel all around better. And Everyone I have a freakin job interview!!! Finally after 2 plus months! lets hope i get it! Also the bf and i are still deciding if were are going to go to kelowna for a week (its free for us to get there and get have a place to stay(my bfs best friend has extremely well off parents) we would get to go horseback riding, sailing, hiking, his sister owns a vinyard ) Were just not sure about going... bleh.. off to clean the house

2phat- yay for the job interview & the weight loss! Kelowna sounds like fun- especially if it's warm there. We've had rain the past few days here in Calgary and hoping the sun will come out to play soon.
Terapet- the hike up the mtn sounds like a great way to start the day. Sometimes it's hard to get going, but once started it's energizing!

Meanwhile- I'm surviving Stampede here by cooking pancakes for the kids at home- no reason to stand in line in the rain! Today we will just run some errands & I'm giving the kids downtime by letting them watch a video & play some DS. Have a great Wednesday!!
I decided not to commit to clean healthy eating! Ha-ha. Just being real here. I need my treats. I am still going to count all my calories though. I am afraid I am kind of dangerous territory right now. This is pretty much the same place I always get and then put it back on. However, things are always changing. Right now I am out of work so I have a lot of time to exercise and cook at home and no job related stresses. There is definitely an unpleasant side to being at home all the time and trying to find a job and the lack of paycheck. Man, I miss the paycheck a lot! I am trying to make the best of the situation though including taking this time to get in better shape. Hopefully this will be the time I make the real change in my life that sticks.

Hope everyone has a great Wednesday! I'm still really REALLY sore from those classes on Monday. Tonight I'm going to go back to the gym though and my plan is to hit the hot tub and the pool for a few hours, then hit the bicycle for awhile, and then I'm going to take the zumba class again because I really enjoyed that one.
It's been really quiet on here so I hope everyone is doing well and staying cool in this summer heat!
Mel- I wish I could. Today in AZ its 108 F and tomorrow is supposed to be 116F. Save me! Haha!
It's ok though really. I'm going to a pool fitness class tomorrow and then to soak in the hot tub there. My muscles have been killing me all week long.
The weather is hot and humid around here- but storms are suppose to be coming in which should cool us off ....
I have stayed OP all week so far but it has only been 3 days but still planning on staying OP so I should have a good weight loss on Sunday well I can hope anyways
Hello Everyone! Sorry I have been MIA, I have been having a pity party because I fell off my plan ,I have come to my senses I took a long walk tonight and thought about why I wanted/needed to do this....
My goal for starting this whole thing was not for the number on the scale, it was to think more about my health... My family has a history of heart disease......Mom,Dad and brother have all had heart attacks.(my brother was at age 39) My Mom,Dad and sister have diabetes and are on insulin... My mom is now in congestive heart failure... On a happy note my dad and brother are doing super now, they are in great shape. My mom is not a big person ( short & stout) but seems to eat OK for the most part. My sister... Not really sure what she's doing
So my story is I want to be somewhat healthy! I'm dusting myself off and trying again to keep on track....
Anywho I have not hit up over the 160's again so that is good.....(Being skinny will be a bonus with being healthy)
BlueEyes-I am off my eating plan as well. Unfortunately, I am rather enjoying it so I need to have a serious talk with myself. You are right about eating right for your health. My husband and I discuss this all the time. Both his Dad and my Mom died in their early sixties of heart disease probably unnecessarily. Neither one of us want to go down that road. It is too bad all those yummy things I like to eat have the potential for major damage to the body. I need to be an adult about this and start living well again.
