In answer toooo the QOTD Oooooh
Luckily I like quite alot of healthy food But my fave atm....
Is probably baby asparagus & baby sweetcorn with ground pepper& soy sauce nom nom AND blueberries<3
Healthy food that I only eat for that reason...ooo.... When I bought some chinese stirfry veggies in tins- like 9 cals a tin of all sorts of things...gosh...I had to FORCE myself to eat it *shudders*
QOTD - What is your favorite healthy food? And what (if any) healthy food do you eat that you only eat because it is good for you?
Favorite- Moro Oranges (aka- blood oranges) I'm borderline obsessed with them
Only eat it because it's good for me- Most green veggies. I don't hate them, but I don't desire them at all.
I only eat yogurt because its healthy. It has grown on my over the years, but not my favorite thing.
My favorite healthy thing is the salad I make, with mixed greens, cucumbers, feta, fresh corn off the cob, red onions, and homemade croutons. I only have the croutons once in a while, but soooo good! The corn really makes the salad extra special.

Favorite food- It's a tie between bartlett pears and gala apples
I'll only eat plain avocado if I absolutely have to. I mean I love it mixed with salsa in guacamole, but can't stand it plain.
Hiya ladies! Of course the scale drops the day after weigh in ...but I guess at least those pounds will count next week! The good news is that those 2 little extra pounds put me to 100 pounds lost officially! I'm so freakin excited right now! Onederland is sooooo close!
Anyways, there's a link to photos in my sif if you want to check out my progress shots!
My favorite healthy food is fruit smoothies.......mmmmmmmm! My unhealthiest version is just frozen bananas with milk and honey. My healthiest versions are strawberries and sometimes other frozen fruit with just water and sometimes agave. If popcorn counts, that is also another favorite food. I airpop it with a little melted smart balance on it if I am trying to eat healthy. I know how I would normally eat it is not considered healthy (tons of butter)!
A food I eat just because it is healthy are the various crappy healthy bars I buy to eat on the go. They work on preventing me from stopping and eating crappy on the road...but I'd honestly rather just eat the non-healthy food!
Jessica way to go on reaching 100 pound mark - Wonderful transformation pictures you look GREAT
What is your favorite healthy food? And what (if any) healthy food do you eat that you only eat because it is good for you?
I love Granny Smith Apples and Grapefruit - they are my favorite and get eat them all day long
My not so favorite food - first let me say that I do not eat anything that I do not like whether it is good for me or not
So I would have to say most disliked food that I don't eat much of would be oranges because I do eat them just not often
Well I do have to say that yesterday I was totally OP all day and walked on treadmil for 30 minutes.
So far today I have been OP and have supper ready just waiting to cook it when the time gets here
I have a great NSV...well, I guess it would be a NSV. I've been working through the Couch-to-5K running program, and last night I got to the 20 minute run! In 6 weeks I've gone from running 30 seconds to running 20 minutes straight!
QOTD - What is one thing that your support network does well to help you on your journey? And what is something that you wish they'd do?
My family has gotten much better about not trying to get me to eat stuff. I wish that they would learn not to complain so much about the stuff I cook though....I know it is a lot to expect for 2-10yos to be happy about vegetables and stuff, but they could at least not moan outloud!
QOTD - What is one thing that your support network does well to help you on your journey? And what is something that you wish they'd do?
My husband, since seeing that I'm really taking this very seriously this time around, has been good about asking me what I want to eat, and what I can't eat. He also doesn't mind that I'm racking out so early at night, even though I know he wishes I'd stay up with him. I do wish, however, that I could get him to work out with me, or get anyone to work out with me, but I guess everyone goes at their own pace...
QOTD - What is one thing that your support network does well to help you on your journey? And what is something that you wish they'd do?
Well my DH is now watching what he is eating as well which makes cooking so much easier on me
You know there really isn't anything I wish anyone would do - DH use to always want to go out to eat but since following plan he hasn't wanted to go out either which has been a great help again
So today stayed OP all day again, haven't had a morsel of anything off plan so that makes 3 days strictly OP, so hopefully the scale will show something this week
Very quiet thread the last couple of nights but I know there is alot of bad weather going around again- will winter ever get over???
Having trouble staying OP the last 2 days. I eat well for 75-80% of the day and ten I spiral downward. Yesterday I got off work at 10pm and went to McDonalds-ugh! I had a cheeseburger and fries (~700 calories). I blame the olympics and all the darn commercials
today was the same. The kids were eating after soccer and fries were involved. Today I was able to moderate my portion better but still! I must be feeling deprived with all the salads I'm eating. I guess I'll have to start adding things back into the diet to avoid these pitfalls.
QOTD - What is one thing that your support network does well to help you on your journey? And what is something that you wish they'd do?
dh watches the kids while I walk the dog in the evening and tried to help by purchasing more fresh fruit & veggies, & less crap (he does most of the grovert shopping)
Hello ladies. I've been MIA for 6 days because I was working a winter camp in the mountains here in South Korea with NO internet, even though we were previously told there would be. So, I ended up using my last freebie this past week. Glad I had one left for Monte to use, because I was so bummed out thinking I had been eliminated from this challenge. Which would be bad for me because I need this time here with all of you. Anyways, food was under control a lot this week and I got in a lot of hard exercise. Hoping for a great number this week to put me back on track. Hope everyone is having a good week.
Shan- always good to 'see' you! Winter camp, 2 words I don't like to out together. I've done enough camping in the summer with snow. Is there snow where you are or just cold temps?
I'm fighting a cold, feel like I've been hit by a Mack Truck and debating whether to go to aerobics in the morning.
So QOTD: do you exercise when sick?

I've been having the same problem. Got so sick yesterday had to clear my schedule and actually rest. Couldn't work out if I'd wanted too. Got dizzy if I moved too much.
Today is much better. Still didn't work out. Still get dizzy if I run around but I can walk around and work at my desk.
