My biggest obstacle is letting work completely take over my life...that means not working out, not eating right, just working, working, and then working some more. Put it this way...today the kids were talking about my son being addicted to his new video game and my daughter said she was addicted to books and then asked what I was addicted to...my 6 year old son immediately blurted out "working!" I have to say it's true...so, I am now struggling to just find some balance in my life.

UGH! I have had such an off program week. I let the stress of cleaning the house and going back to school get to me. I worked out monday and today. Luckily/unluckily when im stressed i skip meals, so while i was eating off program i'n still down a bit for the week. My goal for next week is to find a groove so i can be on plan with my excersize and diet. I hope all you ladies had a good week, see you tomorrow for the weigh in!

Hey all! I'm on vacation and am walking sooooooooooo much! I'm in San Francisco, was just in Las Vegas and am sticking to my calories and walking, walking, WALKING! I'll have regular access to a computer on Tuesday and will then participate regularly. Best of luck to all!

Stress is my biggest obstacle. I lose my focus and all falls apart. Last week was very stressful. I know i will do a better job this week. I need to exercise more.

Afternoon ladies! It's been super busy lately and I've been struggling a bit to keep my head in the game. I guess that would be my biggest obstacle - just getting distracted. I combat that by making sure that I log EVERYTHING that I eat. It helps to keep me from completely derailing.

I logged a lb loss this week. Not much, but since I've been staying in the 207's for the last FOUR weeks, it was really nice to see a 6 at the end this morning.

The weather in N Texas has been beautiful today. It had warmed up to the mid-50's yesterday, so I've been able to get an outdoors walk/jog in both days this weekend. Feels good to get outside and exercise again - I enjoy my workout tapes and such, but nothing beats getting that fresh air and change of scenery!

Week 3, here we come!

My biggest obstacle to weight loss is my lack of discipline and ability to follow through. I've found that as soon as fall of the wagon for a day, I allow myself to give up for the rest of the week thinking "I'll just start next Monday" next thing I know I've been off plan for a month. This year I'm trying to not let myself give up; if I fall off one day/night, I just have to work harder the next day.

Also, I've discovered that boredom is my enemy. If I'm home and have nothing to do, I'll just eat/order something to eat/go buy something to eat.

My biggest obstacle, well there are a few, are working crazy hours on the weekend, being stressed and sometimes just pure laziness. The things I am doing to help combat it are planning for my crazy work schedule by fixing my meals for the entire weekend on Thursday so I can just grab the bag and go. I just ended a not so good seven year relationship so I have really seen a difference in my stress levels the last couple of weeks and as far as the laziness...that's just something I have to constantly be aware of and make myself do things when all I want to do is lounge around.

I did have a 3lb lose this week so I am happy for that!! It is going to be a nice week here too so I can get outside and be active.

I hope everyone has a great start to the week...
