He is super sick, and between homeschooling my kids and trying to deal with him, I'm exhausted.

I have to say, I think we (the red team) did great! Keep it up everyone.
So sorry about your dad chewysmom. I'll keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

I can't get on to pg 2 of the thread to catch up, but I'll post anyway. Hope everyone is having an OP day so far.
I got a small loss on the scale this morning. Apparently this last bit of holiday weight was real weight gain and not the usual salt/bloat gain from a day of indulgence. I DEFINITELY indulged for more than a day!! LOL Anyway, it's coming off now, slow but sure. I have another good OP day planned with a new White Chicken Chili recipe I'm trying for supper. I've made WCC before, but this is a different (crockpot) version I'm trying out now. I hope it's good, 'cuz I love chili...in many forms! YUM!!

I am feeling a bit better again today...going to try to do a short yoga workout tonight, we'll see if that helps or hurts me. Nothing really new on my end so on to personals...

Are you taking measurements? I bet you are losing inches and will start seeing changes in your clothing then a big drop on the scale....keep doing what you know is best for your body and it will happen!

Anywho, I just wanted to share it, because it just really shocked me, and gave me a little reality jolt of the contradiction between me now, and me a month ago
I think you handled it just perfectly. You had your moment of personal inspiration and didn't say anything to her. She will have to come to her own moment of change in her own time. I would just do what is best for you and support her as a friend when/if she decides it's time for her to make some changes...you can't change her and she obviously isn't open to commentary/opinions so I think you handled it just right.

hello all, i just realized how greaat this chat idea is. I apologize in advance because i rather suck at mentioning everyone elses posts. But i'll put in my 2 cents whenever i can.

Today I am so proud of myself. It was back to the grind today. We do alot of weddingd and we are booked solid with wedding consults this week. However during our lunch I did watp for the first time. Way harder than I thought. Tonight is the hard part. I have a super bad headache. Also I have this weird issue that in the evening my legs ache really bad. really bad. Sometimes I cant sleep cuz of it.......

I'll be ok I just get irritable when i'm hurting.

Good Evening all- wow so many did such a wonderful job with their weightloss efforts that is great

sorry again I am not great at personals either but I do have to say great job VeedeeValentine you are doing a great job sticking to your plan even though your friend was still buying stuff that you USE to eat so yes I believe she will see your accomplishments and will want to follow suit

Candice you go girl I would do everything possible as well to lose the weight and have a balcony suite they are so much nicer

shea5 I totally agree about staying motivated when you are getting up so early in the mornings - I am having to get up and be on the road by 3am and not getting home till about 3pm or so and let me tell you not going to bed till after 9pm well usually 10pm I am not getting much sleep and with having bronchitis not getting much quality good sleep over the last week
I still plan on losing this week as next week we leave for Jamaica and I know what will happen on vacation especially since it is an all-inclusive trip

Well I will check back in tomorrow- so everybody have a Great Wednesday

I am like this and so is my daughter and my sister..it's just being tired! My mom used to tell us to go to bed and we'd feel better in the AM and I always thought she just didn't understand how it hurt. Turns out she was SO RIGHT! I still do it and know just going down for a good night of rest will fix it.

Thanks! It looks like he's either had a heart attack, or he has pericarditis. (we took him to the ER yesterday, instead of the dr).

(First, one big virtual for Chewysmom.)

Well...I will be gently starting back to exercise today. Instead of the 4 mile morning walk I would normally be taking I will break it up into two 2 mile walks, one in the morning and one this evening. If my back feels okay I will try to get in Turbo Jam as well. It is a bit tender still but feels much better by the end of the day, so I think moving more might be what I need right now.

Hi Ladies! Everyone is doing such a great job.

I got a nice surprise today when I jumped on the scale....163.8, the lowest I've been since falling off the wagon this summer. Things are finally headed in the right direction!

Monte-Congrats!! Must feel so good to know things are working right now!

I also had a nice drop FINALLY on the scale and am now under my start weight for this challenge, thank the good Lord. I was a little annoyed that I couldn't get back down there. I was also feeling a tad guilty for being a bad teammate, but it's all good now. I've been waiting and waiting for the scale to reward my work and there it is. It may be a slightly lower weight due to a slightly later weigh-in, but I'm taking it. I deserve this loss, for goodness sake!! LOL
