ugggghhhhh

TOM is here. Scale isn't budging. At least it's not going higher but still. I had high hopes for the last few weeks in this competition.

Also found bugs in my cereal box this morning. The healthy stuff too :( Just had to go through everything to make sure there weren't more bugs. Super gross.

Today I will work out after work tonight. Just too busy until then. Off to grocery shop. Hope everyone is doing their best to get back on track.

Okay, so we all just got a look at the results, and to be frank, they were disappointing. But we shouldn't be discouraged. Just think of this week as where you take a couple steps back to get a good running start! We can finish out this challenge with a bang!

Ouch, this was not a good week for the Red team, huh ladies? I did not do well at all last week, but this is a new week, and I'm doing great!

Oops--we really didn't do well, huh? But you know what? It just sets us all up for a BIG loss this week when we finally get rid of all that holiday bloat!

Finally today I squeaked under my pre TG Day weight! Just onward and downward now!!!

crazy4weightloss, congratulations on being the biggest loser this week. At least someone lost weight.

I seem to have lost my will to exercise. It'll pass and I'll be back on track. Actually, I have exercised the last two days but my heart's not in it. Too much going on in my mind with new baby coming and DS getting married this summer and Christmas around the corner. I've been baking like a maniac the last two days. I made 2 cherry pound cakes, a peach fruit cake, a gumdrop pound cake, a sultana pound cake and 6 dozen shortbread cookies. They were big recipes so I got at least one large cake and a small one out of each one. Happily for me, I'm giving most of them away. Anyone else bake lots for Christmas or do you just buy your cakes and cookies? I bake for my sister, DS and DIL and MIL. My sister does not bake anything so I'm her Christmas baker. :D I also give a few cakes away for gifts.

I suppose I should go finish cleaning up the kitchen. Catch you all later.

Hi Everyone,
What a week, I started feeling sick on Monday night, very dizzy, not something normal, so I went to the Dr right on Tuesday and he thinks it is fluid buildup in my inner ear and could last for amonth. He did give me some water pills to try and drain any excess fluid, so I took my forts one today and feel some better. but they sure make me thirsty. I've been drinking water like crazy, which is good for me I guess. Hopefully I'll lose some weight too.

retiredone: I love baking for Christmas and holidays too. My favorite is baking bread and rolls.

Yep, this week sucked. I didn't help any because I posted a gain. I am having a real tough time making any progress lately. It is not for lack of trying, but just my stupid body. This is why I quit so many times in the past. I know better now and that I just need to stick with it and something good will.....eventually happen.

I don't go over 1400 calories a day. I work out almost every single day. I miss very few. I get in a minimum of 30 min and most days it's more like 40. Today I did a kickboxing DVD for 20 min, WATP 1 mile in 15 min, then ran 1/2 mile. What more can I do???

I hope things look better next week.

How is everyone doing so far this week?

I've been doing really well. Yesterday I wasn't hungry at all, and I barely managed to eat 1200 calories (I usually eat 1500). I'm still walking 3 miles a day, plus doing 75 situps & 40 pushups. I'm going to try to double up my walking on Saturday, but I may not have the time. I haven't weighed yet (the more control I practice the better, right?) but all my clothes are too big again (while gratifiying, this is beginning to get a bit old). I don't know what is up with my measuring tape. I didn't lose any inches this month, but my pants have gone from fitting perfectly, to being WAY too big. Wierd.

The scale is going down for me! It has gone down 4 pounds this week, which brings me back to where I was 2 weeks ago. Now I need to get my butt back down to what my ticker says!

Only 2 more weigh-ins to go for this challenge ladies! Let's make them good ones!

Hello RED TEAM. I'm still baking but I got in some exercise this afternoon and will finish this evening. I'll go on my bike while I watch TV. I'm hoping to break through to the 130s before Christmas. I'd be deliriously happy if that happens. Have a good evening everyone.

Worked hard again tonight. Did WATP walk/jog with a muscle mile. So 3 miles, 1 with weights. I wasn't dying or panting, but did work up a little sweat. Eating is on track. If I don't lose something tomorrow I think I'll cry. I am getting very frustrated.

Just a fly-by really quick. I am down 2 pounds and have 2 more to go until I am at 179 again. Got the eating back under control now to rev up my exercise and I should be able to get back to ticker by Monday.

We had fun at the ball last night. was cold and my feet hurt. but the food was good. chicken cordon bleu and scalloped potatoes ;) yum! I'll try to attach some pics my neighbor took of us in front of her christmas tree before we left for the evening ;)
We also bought some professional pics last night. we stood next to a towed gun and got pics done ;) we got a bigger package so we could give his parents a 8x10 formal pics of me and him. ;) cant wait to get those back ;) th family pics to do tonight (where i get another makeover for hair/makeup) is tonight, and should also get those pics back before we leave for christmas.

I weighed myself this morning and saw a number I haven't seen in 3 years! 274.8! Moving on to mini-goal #4!!! I didn't really have anyone else to tell, but couldn't contain my excitement!

The date went well...I have been out with him multiple times and I really like him! We'll see what happens, we are goin' slow! I am going to see him again tomorrow!

dang, where is everyone?

i am proud to say i am back to ticker. so if i can squeeze out a "real" pound now this weekend, i will be able to post a loss on monday! i finally feel better and am not too sick anymore so i can exercise more and my eating has been much better.

i have a mandatory training at work this morning, so i am off with my OJ and cheerios just in case they have a spread of donuts waiting there haha. i will not be tempted today!

Hi everyone. I've been super busy getting ready for our church Christmas program. I put the final program together yesterday and printed it out today. We go on stage next Saturday night. The church looks like a war zone. We dragged out all the decorations and stage props this evening and they are strewn all over the place. But it's all starting to fall in place.

I weighed in this morning but the scales didn't budge any from last week. That happens every now and then so I'm not upset. I'll probably see a bigger loss next week. That's our final week. Then we'll have to be "good" on our own so I guess we'll have to put our best foot forward and try and make the last week the best.

ArmyWife, you look terrific. Wish I had a red dress.

Wow!! There is like nobody here. Did everybody quit? I hope not. My weight has just been holding steady, no matter what i do. I can cut calories, up calories, workout, not workout. Nothing seems to make any difference. I am confused and getting very depressed about the whole thing. Of course it doesn't help any that my weight had to settle just above 200, it couldn't possibly be under.

Well, I am still trying my hardest, I just don't know what else to do. Good luck to everyone that is still here working hard.

Hello everyone. I've been so busy that I'm neglecting myself. I'm not getting in all my exercise but I am getting in several days a week. It's Christmas that's doing this to me. I'm a co-director of our church choir and of course we are getting ready for our Christmas program. It will take place early on the evening of December 13 so I'll have some breathing time when that is over.

I did a major Christmas shopping trip today but have several gifts left to buy. I did, however, find a very nice pair of black dress pants in a size 10 that really fit well. I was hunting for a size 12 when all of a sudden a light went on in my head when I realized I was wearing size 10 jeans so why the heck was I looking for size 12 pants. So I have something nice to wear if I want to dress up a bit during the holidays. I also bought 3 new tops/sweaters. Everything was on sale so the pants and 3 tops cost less than $50. Those will be my Christmas gifts from my husband along with a few other things.

Anyway I'm back on track as much as I can be this week which will be hectic with many practices and decorating but I've got to make time to take care of myself.

Come on Shari, hop to it girl.

I really thought I was going to have a nice loss this week. I only cheated a little on my brother's birthday, and I walked an extra 3 miles to make up for it. :( Oh, well, there is still next week.

I too had a little loss this week. This weekend we took the dogs out to the property and let them run and we hiked. It's really weird to be sweating in 28 degree weather, and there's more snow out there than here, so made for good resistence walking. And I've been shoveling the driveway, sidewalks and walkway up to the house. This morning it was such light, fluffy snow I swept it. It has gotten pretty quite around here, I guess it's that time of the year and everyone is busy busy. I've gotten the Christmas shopping done for the boys. This week I'll get the cards out. Me and the boys want to do some baking to send some stuff to my parents and best friend back home. Well I better get going. I hope everyone has a Marvelous Monday!!!

Hi all! I had just a 1 pound loss overall since my freebie but in actuality that was 4 pounds for the week since I was up 5 from Thanksgiving so I am happy! I am going to try to knock out those last 2 pounds so I end at the 26 pounds I was trying to lose in these 13 weeks. I still am sort of in awe that I did it. This weight also marks the lowest weight I have been since right before I had my first son. I still have a ways to go overall but I am feeling a lot more confident as each milestone is met!

I signed up for the last week of the allowance challenge since I am needing an extra push for the last week. I hope more people do as well!

Well my hubby had laser eye surgery this morning so I am off for the day from work and taking care of him. Hope everyone has a great day!
