Anna - Cookies and chips are crapola! You're working to hard for that stuff. Right back on track tomorrow, right? I made it through day on-plan day 4. Although I didn't track my calories, I ate on-plan foods only and stayed on the same eating schedule and amounts as the previous 3 days. I'm confident that my calories were not out of line. I only had 16 ounces of water today. I really don't like drinking the stuff! But, my big news........*drum roll, please*.......I did day 1 of week 1 of my 13 week modified C25K program! I actually did more than the required 30 minutes of 30 second runs interspersed 4 1/2 minute walks. I decided to do 50 minutes with a 10 minute walking warm-up at the beginning. I'm sweaty and exhausted and exhilirated all at the same time! Hope everyone has a great evening. |

well, i've been bad on my eating yesterday and today. I've been eating everything. I know it's cause TOM is coming. Uhg, i feel so bloated. Blah!!!!

OK, I have been REALLY WHINING lately.
So, I actually managed to get all the weight I had gained last week back off and lose .6 lbs, so I can't complain too much, but I did my measurements this morning and have lost 1" off my bust, 1" off my waist, and .5" off my lower Abs (big problem area) since the start of this challenge. I thought that wasn't too bad, but then I checked out my totals. I started this journey on the 15th of September 2007, since that time, I have lost a total of 52.75" over my body (bust, waist, hips, lower abs [which I have only been measuring since March], arm, and thigh. That is more inches than my DS is tall (not by much though:)). That combined with actually squeezing into a size 12 pair of jeans (which could not be worn in public yet) made me VERY happy, but me being the greedy individual wants more. We are going on a cruise in November, I want to be able to get into those 12s and them be lose. I want to be working on 10s. I will make it happen. Thanks for listening to me whine and now brag. I have at least another 32 lbs to lose, and I will get there. |
Kelly -- WHOO HOO! Yow hot mama, that is just some rockin' body improvement you've got going there! So inspirational, I know you are gonna just be loving that body on your cruise!!!!!!

Dora- Glad you have your wallet back safe and sound. Ok Blue Team here are the new haircut pics! I don't really have a before because my avatar is old (pic after my last haircut which was a while ago). But needless to say my hair was really long and crummy so I feel so much better now that it was cut. Okay, Bluesers! I need the strong voice of reason to perch on my shoulder and keep whispering in my ear this weekend. This is mine and Hubby's last weekend alone before we pick up the girls next week. Over this six week period, we have greatly enjoyed eating out. Going to dinner and then to the movies or the bookstore has always been our favorite date. My inner spoiled child is rearing her ugly head and screaming that I don't wanna stay on-plan! I want to relax and enjoy myself! Why couldn't I just wait to go back on-plan until after we pick up the girls and everything is back to the same ole' normal? I want to go to Texas Roadhouse and have....(food porn.) I want a margarita! or, two or three. I'm not at the point yet where I feel strong enough to go to dinner and choose healthy options. I know what I need to do, but...honestly?...I'm not very happy about telling myself no. |
Score! My scale was nice this morning :) I'm going to post my weight of 292.5 for this week, so -4 (though a freebie week last week, so -2 for each of the past 2 weeks).
That puts me down 22.5 pounds since my challenge starting weight. Amazing what one can accomplish when I actually STICK to something :dizzy: |

If you really want something plan for it, but for just 1 thing. Maybe that Margarite if you really want it. For example, I occassionally give myself an extra starch when we eat out. I never do it more than 1 time a week, and personally, I never drink it, because as much as I love a good Peach Frozen Margarita, I love food more:D Right now, you need to stay strong, I know ... I have been there too. |
