1. What is something you did really well this week? Kept it clean! My eating that is! Get your minds outta the gutter's girls! ;) Ate right all week AND fought off my saboteur that is my lovely DH without batting an eye! :D

TV: General Hospital, anything I've Tivo'd for the week. 5. What does your computer desktop picture look like? Awesome photo of Mike Ness from Social D. I'm thinkin about putting "Bob" up there.... :D 6. If you could have lunch with anyone who would it be and why? Bob, natch! ;) Him, or Jackie Warner from Bravo tv's "Workout". I'd want to talk about getting the best workouts possible and how to get abs like theirs! Maybe ask Bob if I could just sit and stare at his for awhile! :lol: 7. Do you prefer to read or watch movies? Both!! I LOVE going to the movies and seeing everything on the big screen. 8. Are you an early bird or a night owl? 1. What is something you did really well this week? although I didn't do great I would say exercise because after just having a baby it is something that would have been easy to say ohh I can wait to do this

My dh all dirty riding his ATV holding our very clean 6 week old baby girl (all in pink) I love the contrast and my dh looks so cute in it 6. OR what is your favorite show to watch while you workout? OR what do you read while working out? A hodge podge really but Unwritten Law, Good Charlotte and Fall Out Boy get me sweatin! 5. mikelli Two pounds is GREAT though! Really that's all I hope for on a good week... they say slow losses are easier to sustain.
1. What is something you did really well this week? Was a good week overall nothing really stands out but I'll say exercise since I kicked it up a notch with the more advanced Turbo Jam Tape. 2. What is something you'd like to work on for week 2? Water. I've been very bad about it lately. 3. What is one item of clothing you are looking forward to getting rid of when you reach goal? I'm going to have to get rid of my clothing a few times over before I reach goal... but I JUST tossed my size 26 jeans (yeay!) (Down to 20/22 now) 4. What is your favorite CD or song to workout to? OR what is your favorite show to watch while you workout? OR what do you read while working out? I usually listen to a mix from my itunes... goth/ebm/triphop... stuff like VNV has a great beat for walking. 5. What does your computer desktop picture look like? Currently medieval tiles. Was a "mypetskeleton" wallpaper yesterday. 6. If you could have lunch with anyone who would it be and why? Hm... I don't know. I'm shy. :( 7. Do you prefer to read or watch movies? Both but I don't read as much as I used to so I'll go with movies. 8. Are you an early bird or a night owl? VERY much a night owl. 9. What is your favorite part of your body? Eyes? (Blue) 10. Not being able to taste would make keeping the weight off fairly easy wouldn't it? 1. What is something you did really well this week? For the most part, I stuck to my diet and exercise. That's more than I can say for the past few weeks.

This old baggy T-shirt I always wear. 4. What is your favorite CD or song to workout to? OR what is your favorite show to watch while you workout? OR what do you read while working out? I usually just listen to the music that is on the workout DVD I do. 5. What does your computer desktop picture look like? It's a painting by Brandon Bird. 6. If you could have lunch with anyone who would it be and why? Henry Rollins. He's smart, in amazing shape and he probably has the greatest stories. A runner up would be Bruce Campbell, because he's just too awesome for his own good. 7. Do you prefer to read or watch movies? I mainly like to read, but I enjoy watching movies. 8. Are you an early bird or a night owl? Night owl, but lately I've been getting up early to workout. 9. What is your favorite part of your body? My lips, because it's probably the only big body part I have that looks good the way it is now. 10. If I did get the perfect body with that side effect, I'd probably never eat and would end up severely underweight. I love the taste of food. |

I did 60mins of step (Cathe's basic Step and Go Step Kari Anderson) and I didn't eat a whole lot, but I did have a burrito Bol from Chipotle, so I'm going to have to drink a ton of water to flush out all that salt! -muse |
This past week has sucked! First off it's that time of the month and I was up 4lbs in the middle of the week... this morning I was down almost a pound from my starting weight which is better but I'm still disappointed! On top of that I had several days that I had put in more then 12hours at work which made for some lonnnnnnnnnng days!!! I'm hoping this week will be better but my husband will gone all week so it's just me and the kids...

OR what do you read while working out? Usually I have my ipod on with a variety of songs... I have some rock, some alternative, and some country on it... a bit of everything. 5. What does your computer desktop picture look like? A scrapbook page with pics of my kids on it. 6. If you could have lunch with anyone who would it be and why? My friend Jheri... who lives in Canada and I never get to see! 7. Do you prefer to read or watch movies? I much prefer movies to reading but I did start reading this summer again for enjoyment! 8. This week has been full of changes. I started a new job a month ago and am still getting used to fitting everything that needs to be done in a day. Planning my meals is the hardest part. I really have to focus and sometimes it is not so easy at 5:30 in the morning.
1. What is something you did really well this week? This week I drank all my water. I also exercised 5 days this week. 2. What is something you'd like to work on for week 2? I want to stick to my RED WINS challenge goal. I also would like to stick to my eating goals better. 3. What is one item of clothing you are looking forward to getting rid of when you reach goal? I refuse to purchase new jeans while I am at this weight. I am wearing the same three pair of jeans. I look forward to getting rid of those old worn things. 4. What is your favorite CD or song to workout to? OR what is your favorite show to watch while you workout? OR what do you read while working out? I find the articles in Shape magazine to be quite motivating. 5. What does your computer desktop picture look like? It is a picture of me at the lake over Labor Day weekend. 6. If you could have lunch with anyone who would it be and why? 7. Do you prefer to read or watch movies? Watch movies 8. Are you an early bird or a night owl? I can be a bit of both. I used to be a complete night owl, but now I have a new job which requires me to get up early. I still TRY to stay up on weekends though, but so far I have not lasted beyond 1am. 9. Yes, in all honestly I sometimes think I do not eat because of taste it is more a habit. |
Greetings Fellow Redsters! Hope ya'll are having a super weekend and ready to turn it up a notch for the coming week! We have just about completed week 1 of our challenge and I am so incredibly proud of all of us!! :dancer:
It's nice to see everyone participating with the Q&A Melissa was kind enough to create. Really helps to break the ice some more and get to know one another. I got my ellip yesterday. WOW. All I can say is that thing kicked my arse and I'm definitely feelin it this morning!! I wasn't able to go too too long as my knees were burning something fierce. :flame: I was disappointed in myself at first then figured I can only get better with time. I've used a stationary bike and work-out dvd's for sooooo long that this is a completely different type of workout altogether. Gonna take some time! All-in-all I am proud of what I was able to do especially since I have always had a fear of exercise. Only good things can come out of this I'm sure of it! :cb: Have a great day ladies, be good to you! |

Paige...dont let AF get ya down!! Just keep up doing what you know you need to do and you will succeed!! You can do it!! Week 2 is going to be SO much better! Ann....WOOOHOOO a loss!!! Excellent job! You've got the ball rolling down the hill and its gonna keep on going!!! Way to go!! Time for a change....I'm the same way, I wear the same darn clothes over and over again because I'm too cheap to buy fat clothes, but I really do feel so much better in new clothes, We all need to be better to ourselves! Way to go on that exercise last week!!! Danielle..you are so right, its just a different type of workout, but to ease up on your knees for a bit can you adjust the tension? I'm so excited for you!!! Way to go on using that bad boy right out of the box!! You rock! Muse...I've got a before picture...ugh its scary, I'd love to show everyone when the challenge is over so i've got an after to go with it LOL!! Great idea!!
