watching portions and bad carbs

3. What do you do for exercise?
running and t-tapp

4. What is one area you struggle with?
fast food and too much

5. Tell us something about yourself that you are most proud of...and it cant be kids or family.
I've been really organized lately- on top of housework, meals, kids activities etc (why I haven't posted yet, lol!) Now to add the weightloss stuff.

Originally from Montana, but have lived in Alberta for 11 years now!

7. What is your FS4 challenge goal?
get under 200!!

I really enjoyed the show. It really motivated me. I couldn't believe the amount of weight loss last night.

What did I do for my team today? I did great on eating healthy and stayed away from junk food. I got released from the dr. (yesterday) so now I can start exercising again! Today I did WATP 2 mile.
I also got to watch the biggest loser a big motivator.

Hey just thought I'd check in before I head to work. I did my jogging/walking combo this morning. I took my measurements today and in the last two weeks i've lost 3 1/4". What a good way to start the day:carrot:'

Amber.....:bday2you: I hope you have a wonderful day! I'm never good at restraunts even when I go in thinking I'm gonna be. My plan of attack now is to just do the best I can and really watch those portions! :woo:

Busy day for me yesterday!! I didnt get a chance to watch all of BL yet, just the last 15 minutes to see who they voted off, the rest is on tape. I saw a preview last night for BL and I'm sorry I REALLY do not like how Jillian is talking to her black team. I find it extremely offensive to get someone to say...they didnt want me because I'm not strong enough. I hope that was just edited badly!

I will be on my rear end alot today doing homework, but I WILL ride my bike to campus for you again today...despite the smoke! Nothing can get me down right! I'm doing really great on plan! Its hard with the low carb eating to not get on myself for over eating. I think I'm PMSing so the last 2 days I've had that bottomless pit feeling. Friday is my first official weigh in on this plan...cant wait!!

So keep on rocking girls!! Everyone is kicking some serious butt!!

We have 3 teammates who have yet to check in with us! I hope that doesnt mean we lost them already. Cant wait to hear all the amazing things the RED TEAM accomplishes today!!!

Congrats on everyone for working out! We're kicking butt. After I finish cleaning, I plan on doing some Turbo Jam.

I watched the last 20 minutes of TBL, so I didn't really get to see Jillian and her team. I really like the secret black team idea. It makes me wonder what else that show has planned.

Wow, all this exercising and eating right, it's AWESOME!!!!! The enthusiasm we have now is fantastic, ladies when you start to feel yourself slowing down, remember that feeling and strive for it. WE CAN DO THIS! :carrot: :carrot:

What can I say, BL was inspirational. Seeing Bob again, was of course the highlight of my night :D...but, I could not believe some of those weigh-ins! 20 freakin pounds in 1 week! Is that even healthy???? Totally motivational tho, just goes to show ANYONE can do this if they put their mind to it! Ah Jillian, what can I say? I think she gets a bad rap, I think producers use her as the villain and the editing, sheesh! When they mentioned "revenge" in the trailer before the show aired, then they said it again last night, saying it was the black team's revenge, I think the editing for that was just to get people to tune in, no? I do agree that I would probably not respond to the in-your-face type of training like she does, but boy does she get results on the scale. I think it's a YMMV (your mileage may vary) typa thing, certain people will flourish with it, others wont. Her book is fabulous BTW, clear, consise, I just couldn't follow her eating plan...too complex for me, too much counting! :lol:

What I did for my team yesterday: I ate clean, drank 100 oz of water, and did a 2mile WATP dvd. Woot!!! :dance:

We have a fabulous team here, ladies, keep it cranked, keep on rockin' it, we WILL SUCCEED!! :yes: :woohoo: :cheer2:

Yes! Looks like thats going to be all season! You could tell the trainers were very emotional for that first weigh-in. Made it oh-so-sweet when they came back after a week, I'm sure! I think now the trainers can truly appreciate how hard they all work, by getting to participate in that part instead of hearing it as second hand news from their team.

hello, sorry i have no posted yet. I am doing an online class and it just started and the first week there a lot to do. but now I and thru the first week.

Cardio and weight lifting. I am still working out my routine so I will keep you updated

4. What is one area you struggle with?
I struggle with following through. i always give up.I dont have a problem with working out I have a problem with food.

5. Tell us something about yourself that you are most proud of...and it cant be kids or family.
Ok since I cant say kids and family. I will have to say I am finally commitied to finishing school. Thats why I am here I am making my baby steps and this is step 2.

I would love to lose 34lbs but I will be very happy with 25.

Hi all,

I'm really busy, but eating has been pretty good, and I did my workouts/walking yesterday and the day before. Today is a rest day for me from exercise, but I am working all afternoon, then class tonight!
