You can do this Shan!

Here are some things that slow me down sometimes:

Not drinking enough water
Too much caffeine
weight training of any sort (adds water to the muscles but its a temporary weight gain)
too much salt
not enough fiber

If you post what you are eating, I bet we will find something that may be holding you back by having you hold extra water etc.

Today's foods so far:

Breakfast: 3 eggs fried in olive oil, one tomato, 1/4 cup of red onion, 1/2 avocado, 24 oz water
Between breakfast and lunch consumed another 30 oz of water
Lunch: tuna salad made with dill pickle juice, mayo, salt, pepper, and salad with lettuce greens, tomatoes. Red onion, and 1 slice of cheddar cheese, 1 tsp of ranch dressing (0 carb/0 sugar), 24 oz of water

Side note: please don't say I need to add bacon because I can't. I've looked all over this city here in China and it's only Canadian bacon that tastes like chili peppers in my mouth it's so bad.

Ok guys this is getting discouraging the scale just keeps going up and I know its not being bad its water in my healing muscles but I'm going to lay off the scale for a bit and stay POP and see what happens.

I don't think you are eating enough. Can you add a morning snack? You should be eating 1600-1800 calories a day on Atkins at your weight in order to lose.

Shan84: I agree with authentic....What about dinner? Did you eat more at dinner? Are you tracking? I use fatsecret, it helps to see the exact count..You can quit after a while when you get the plan and count that works for you...

Jessie: so sorry you are having a hard time....Keep on keepin on girl...

I know its slow go for me due to age, (72) and years of yoyo dieting....So be it, I have to live with that..This last 24 #s took me 7 months...Thats ok maybe this time I can keep it off...

Thanks Sue, really its no big deal I just need to put less stock in the numbers. The face book group I love so much does not even like weighing and this is why!!! I did however wear a scrub top I have not had on in a while and man dos it fit different!!! I have also started drinking my water from a gallon jug so I am getting enough and can see where in my day I am!!!

Shan and Keri what's up with the same numbers? its ok it will move and your going to love the whoosh!!!
