I'm still fiddling around with those five pounds I gained and almost lost! I have to get on '72 induction unless I want this weight loss to take forever...YIKES!
I'm out of the Two-Teens so barely...212 again this week. At least I didn't gain. I'm planning a 1972 Induction week. I did it week before last and lost 4 pounds, but I was all kinds of HUNGRY. I guess I can just be hungry again this week.
Anybody else read about the new "French Atkins" diet? It's featured as the next big thing in weight loss in September 27 Woman's World magazine. I bought the magazine, read it; it sounds AWFUL! I'm pretty sure I couldn't do the 1st phase for 6 days. I might hurt somebody.

Okay...I have a really short-term goal & am motivated to lose weight this week & throughout this week-end.... I want to be at optimum performance for a job interview this Monday for a management position (I'm up against a lady with a masters in library science )
Cher, congratulations on your interview. These days, it's an accomplishment to even get one. I know you have a list of qualities and experiences that only you can bring to the table. I'll be thinking of you and wishing you all good things!
I'm stressed and am giving myself one whopper of a migraine - hubby brought home some beer last night, had 3, am now paying for it ... up 5 lbs this morning .... so it looks like water will be my best friend today
Cher, I just can't drink like I used to, girl! I made friends with the Captain last Friday afternoon - one shot - and I was tipsy! What??? Yep, just flush that wicked alcohol right out! Hope you feel better quick like a bunny!
You'll be back in no time. I hate the see-saw thing, and it seems to happen to me in ten- pound increments. Very annoying! But I know you'll lose it next week. Let's pretend we've NEVER been on Atkins before, and we're all fired up for a big Induction Week 1...I bet we lose 5 pounds! (Me, all fired up!)
