I have to start over again, too. I had lost 5 lbs. and put it all back on.

Hey guys! Let's make this our induction thread. I'm also starting today.

What did yall eat so far?

I ate an omelet for breakfast with egg, egg whites, 1/2 can tuna, peppers, and 1 tbs salsa. Oh, and 100 calorie serving of mozzarella cheese. I'm going to have the same thing for lunch minus the cheese.

I'm eating 4 meals a day.

I am doing Atkinson in association with my OA. Basically, I must obstain from bread and sugar and my trigger foods ...

Can I start over, too?

Okay, well, not really! I've grown accustomed to certain things I added back in OWL -- but I'm still sticking to roughly 20-25 carbs a day. And I haven't gone "off" this at all actually, but just for the thrill of it I'm going to say I'm starting over, too! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Hi everyone..Im new to this thread I normally post in the over 300+ club I have lost 53 lbs so far and I was doing that by calorie counting and after the holidays things have gotten off track and I did atkins about 5 years ago and lost 70 lbs in 7 months but then stopped doing it and gained all that weight back plus some but i could really use some support now that I am doing it again.

I started last friday and today is my 4th day and I have not messed up at all. My tracker weight is what I weighed last friday and Im not gonna weigh myself again until this friday and I feel like I have lost some weight already so I hope that friday will be a good weigh in.

Sorry such a long post but glad to be here and hope to make friends and become friends with other atkin dieters and get and give lots of support.

Thank You
Heather

Good morning all...well i tried my best to stay away from the scale until friday but I gave in this morning and I am 2.5 lbs down since friday and I hope to be down another 2 lbs by friday we will see. It seems like I lost alot more faster when I did atkins before but that was also 4 years ago plus I have lost over 50 lbs since june 2009 so that could be why too but i am happy with 2.5 lbs so far.

Hey all.... I am new in here. I was going to try the Hcg and have chosen against it. I lost quite a bit of weight on Atkins- safely so I am on the induction bandwagon startin March 18. I am pretty strong willed however for some reason everytime I try to start the induction I get railroaded by the 5 kids I have and their need for carbs... ( hafta taste your own homemade tato salad to see if its "missing" something). Well that tasting leads to a bowl... abnd then lbs on my butt!!!
hbieber- awesome - good for you on your weight loss!!!

Everyone we will beat this one cracker at a time lol....

All is well here. I am down 4lbs since Monday! I know this is water, but that is ok. I feel WAY less bloated. The first time I did this it took forever to get into ketosis, but now I know what it takes for this to happen for me. The stick turned color last night. I packed my lunch for work for the entire week so that has been pretty easy. I am still kind of tired and am looking forward to that energy. I am not hungry much either. I am very determined. Today at our group meeting someone made 3 different kinds of homade icecream, pineapple upsidedown cake, and brownies drizzled with chocolate. I didn't touch one bite. I hope I can stay this focused even during plateaus. Oh yeah - I even excercised last night. Knowing by body is burning fat when I excercise is motivational.

Hi all, I am starting back on induction this week too. I veered off for several weeks and am just wondering if I will ever remain motivated enough to lose the weight I need to lose. I have a young grandson I want to be able to keep up with! I know he shouldn't be my motivation, but I just don't have the energy to do it otherwise!
