I don't understand why people on Atkins freak out when Thanksgiving rolls around Roast turkey, some mashed cauliflower (faux mashed potatoes), low carb cranberries, low carb stuffing, a few veggies and some no crust pumpkin pie and its HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Thank you for that! I am also thinking of the veggie tray with real ranch dip this year! And some sauteed mushrooms to top my turkey instead of gravy.

It's easy to make a gravy without cornstarch or flour too -- just use the drippings, add some cream or butter, thin it with stock if you need to, boil it down... Maybe not for the whole family, but easy enough to put a small amount of it. I actually make sauce/gravy much more often now that I low carb it than I ever did eating before (when I was worried about fat & calories).
