I don't know about filling us up that happily lol!
Vegetables always, maybe with fat free dips? Grilled vegetables. Cottage cheese or making fruit smoothies with protein powder in them to be more filling.
These things don't always fill us up the way we want them to, but your body gets used to changes in portion after a few weeks. I'm on day 21! And I'm snacking less than I was when I started. I eat an egg every morning with LF cheese on a 100 calorie english muffin, and this is VERY filling for me. That's everyday, and I never get tired of it! I have fruit for a mid-morning snack. Then lunch (at work) is a frozen meal or leftovers and lettuce salad. I get through my work day breakfast, lunch and snacks for 900-1000 calories (I'm doing 1850 calories a day), so I have plenty for dinner and sometimes an evening snack.
Pretty much all raw veggies with fat free, greek yogurt based dip (cauliflower is AMAZING, my #1 go to).
1 cup of cauliflower is about 30 calories, and a quarter cup of fat free greek yogurt is also about 30 calories.
A little trick I use is to slice up a ton of celery very thin on a mandolin, then just dump a whopping handful or two into my chicken or egg salad.
A cup of celery is 14 calories, and it can really help fill you up.
Air popped popcorn is pretty low cal, but not super filling imo. But you can just toss a handful into a brown lunch bag, fold down the top, and nuke it in the microwave so it's quick and easy. 30 calories per cup.
Stir fried mushrooms with soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and ground chili pepper (or whatever seasonings you like).
You can eat an entire container of them for about 50 calories, and all the protein and fiber makes them very filling.
My guilty pleasure is pork skins. Never in a million years would think I would like those, but being on WS for a few months, I started craving crunchy and realized that the calorie (80)/fat (5)/carb(0) content per serving was lower than one of my shakes. Drink some water and one serving can be pretty feeling. I just sub it for one of my shakes.
Then again, lettuce is pretty much a free food....
Raw cauliflower is good to munch on. Cooked turnips are great, they are filling like potatoes even seem a little starchy but are super low in calories.
Cooked broccoli is really filling too, and salad in general, lettuce has next to no calories and a big bowl with veggies and lowfat dressing can fill you up.
I love bell pepper "fries". I just cut different colored bell peppers into strips and munch away. No need for dip! Low fat string cheese is another quick low cal snack. And I love my popcorn, it really can help cure the munchies. Also various flavored teas are excellent if you just need to "taste" something and they are 0 calories. Cherry or grape tomatoes & baby carrots are also great finger foods.
