Default Wee little NSV

I just had to post, to reinforce the goodness of it! There are chips, there are Doritos, there are muffins and there is ice cream (Ben & Jerry's!) in the house. But I had a humungous, healthy salad for lunch. I forget sometimes how much I love the taste of veggies - I don't use dressing, just a few olives or pickles for flavour. So I could taste that sweet cherry tomatoes, the yummy carrots, the crunchy cuke... oh my! I'm so happy!

Um... Sorry Onderchic. My 16 yo son is expecting the Doritos, I think. He's doing a co-op course at the college for pre-'law and security' types. Their second day of school, they ran 10k. I forget what they're doing today - maybe kickboxing? - but that type of activity is a daily 3-hour thing for them. In other words, he can afford to eat the extra calories!
