Default Teetering!

I've been trying to get through a daunting plateau for the last month. I want to get out of the 150's for good! This weekend I did that... for one day I weighed 149.8. Back up to 150.8 for my official weekly weigh Monday.

Although this is frustrating, I'm looking at the numbers that say I have been trending downward for the last month. I record my weight every day on a mini calendar. It helps me to see that in April, I was trending very gradually upward towards 155 (at the highest). I reevaluated my plan and made changes. Now, I think I'm on back on the right track.

Losing weight really requires being almost hyper-vigilant with oneself, I think.
Do you agree?

Absolutely! I am pretty obsessive with the scale and weigh myself several times a day. I know there are fluctuations, but I also like to see the trends and make sure they are going downward. I figured I did not weight myself for like 7 years so I can be a little crazy about it right now.

It's so frustrating to almost hit a milestone. I am teetering at 200, and was 198 for awhile. i went on vacation to las vegas for my birthday (may 29th) and lost weight and ate really healthy and walked everywhere, but when I came home... the scale said I gained 7 lbs. Most of it was water weight, but the scale still hasn't really budged since then and I'm at 203.

I'd look at the bigger picture, look at how much you lost, and keep at it, and maybe push yourself a little harder.
