    Mauv and Dawn - I know the feeling - not sure if I have gained or not - WI is SAT - I have been eating like crap - not a lot - but all the wrong stuff - candy and donuts and bratwurst - oh my! Bad week. But if I dont reach my goal I will just have to work twice as hard next Month!

    Not throwing in the towel yet - I have 2 days to WI and 2 more days to Labor Day! A lot can change in 4 days!!

  • Trish~Hang in there! A lot CAN happen in 4 days -- just gotta make it happen! Every day you can pass on the brats, candy etc is another day you'll be prouder of yourself-You can do it!

    I feel like I've slacked off a bit on my abs work this past week so I will make myself get some done tonight and more this weekend. We're probably going to a BBQ that my dh's work is having on mon or sun and that's kind of an incentive for me to keep trying to look good--most of his co-workers are younger than us and I want to represent for the 30 something crowd!

    I have been keeping up with the running--I went out last night outside and ran at a decent pace for almost 20min. I might have overworked my shoulder on Wed, so I'm laying off some of the strength training stuff for now.

    The fall challenge is started so I will leave this thread up until Friday for anyone who wants to post their results and then I will close it.
  • I failed miserably. I gained double what I planned on losing. No more attaching numbers to challenges for me.

  • Well, I wouldn't call it a failure - more of a stale mate. No gain but no loss. On the bright side - I washed my jeans and put them on out of the dryer and was still able to zip up and breathe. So that is minor success.

    Off to new thread for the next goal - maybe since getting cooler I will exercise more? Harder to drink water now though.
