ajandpj99 - Silly girl, if you don't use sugar, what will the yeast eat to make alcohol?

I highly recommend making mead as a beginner's step to wine. Wine can be fun but a little complex. Mead is like beer and wine making mixed together.

I think my next batch will be a super complex Framboise recipe. I love the stuff but the recipe is like a million steps long! Ack!

It is funny because when I typed that I was actually thinking after the wine is made however you make it - it may be tart - especially blackberry and the longer it ferments the more tart?

Anyway - I Meant that I would add splenda to the finished product to sweeten to taste.

I am so not a wine drinker unless you count the carbonated ones - like boones farm or something vines or the others. I like peach and strawberry.

Oh yeah! The girly wines - they are great on a warm summer's evening - my favorite is the strawberry Zinfindel Boone's Sangria is another good one

Yes! I love the Peach Chardonnay that Arbor Mist makes. I am such a girly booze drinker. Love me some Mike's Hard Lime and just good old Peach Schnapps.

Anyone who has had the pleasure of eating at the Outback and ordering a Wallaby Darned will know what I'm talking about. My favorite drink on earth. Peach schnapps, vodka mixed into this icy sort of adult slurpee. Best thing in the world.

Is it sad to wish you were drinking when you're at work and it's only 9am?? *LOL*

Talking Not at all

Since all my tv channels come from Eugene I know it is as warm there as it is here. And a frozen yummy with a bit o cheer sounds really good!

Plus it is my friday so maybe I will just have to have a dacquiri? Or a blended rum and diet cream soda - dont cringe it taste good to me.

But I am a freak!
