  • Well it is just to freakin hot here to exercise. I am doing what I can but it is already 33c with the humidity in the am so I haven't been doin my dvd's It is supposed to get a little cooler over the next few days so I have just been doing some walking at lunch time but eating well.

    Welcome to the challenge Ferret!
  • Had a bad food weekend - high on carbs and fat, low on protein and I can feel it in the way my dress it fitting today. Won't let this stop me though, just motivate me to buckle down and do better.

    Tiki.
  • Today is the first day of my return to WW/SBD which worked for me before so I am trying it out again
  • I'm a little late getting started but I think I can manage SOMETHING in 2 weeks. I haven't been on this list in a while, good to see a lot of familiar names.

    Current weight: 187
    July 1 Mini-goal: 3 lbs
    and
Non-scale goal: keep eating in for lunch, no more sugary treats, keep walking daily.

I wanted to get down to 176 by my birthday July 8th but I don't think I can still make that. But anything would be better than nothing. Thanks for listening (reading).
  • good luck girls!
  • Thought I should check in and show I'm still alive I'm down 2 lbs so far this month, which is right where I wanted to be. My food has been on plan, but my exercise has ground to a halt because of my back pain. I think I'm feeling well enough to take a walk today finally, but I'm going to be really careful. I don't want any more set backs! This has been my longest episode of back pain ever. I thought that I wouldn't have to deal with this after losing the bulk of my extra weight. Guess I was overly optomistic. Okay, I'm done whining!
  • By golly! I forgot all about this!
I'm still alive, too. And I've gained 3 pounds. sigh.
    But I started running today!

Tani, I'm sorry about your back pain. Sending you healing hugs...
  • Aww...ellis, that sucks! But I am sure you will lose it soon enough - you can do it!

Tani-hope your back is better soon -sending you healing vibes

I not doing well in the loss department but I am doing better in the exercise department so that is some progress
  • Just thought I'd check in as well. I'm down further than I'd planned (3 pounds), but I'm hesitant to count the extra as a victory since it is probably due to the stomach flu I had last week. I won't be surprised if I gain it back quick now that my eating is back to normal. Despite the fact that I couldn't really exercise while I was sick last week I've managed to stay on plan. I even went for a high altitude walk on Sunday, there were still patches of snow on the ground!
  • Thanks guys! As I've all ready posted elsewhere I'm finally feeling lots better. Thanks for the good vibes
  • hanna phi - Way to go - it's very hard to stay OP when you are sick but you managed

Glad you are feeling better Tani!

Well I had decided to go with a non-scale goal this month and I have managed to lose 3.5 lbs so far. Hmm....maybe I should focus less on the numbers since it seems to work better I have increased my exercise a wee bit but I still need to improve on getting into a regular routine...
  • I met my scale goal! Whoo!! This is the first time I've met a weight loss goal. I still haven't gotten my tai-chi tape but I did my walking and will keep walking. I am also working on my water intake.
  • Way to go!
  • Woohoo!
