I worked out again today. Yay. Good start to the week. I am feeling pretty good, like i'm getting into it. I have added more treadmill time and am experimenting to see how much weight i can actually lift.
Also I'm excited because one of my buddies from work just told me she joined my gym and can work out with me and give me rides home. This will definately motivate me to go more often, part of the reason I've been slacking is because of the walk/bus ride home in the dark. It'll be better once spring comes, but it's definately been hindering me. I have pretty much resolved to going on Saturday morning from now on though. It's a little busy, but I can still get in, and do stuff before anyone else even in my house is awake.

My exercise for the past couple days:

Monday:
1 hour of strength training
belly dance rehearsal (for a show this weekend) actual dancing was about 20 minutes.

Tuesday:
Walk Away The Pounds "Walk & Jog" (2 1/2 miles in 30 minutes)

Walked for 1/2 hour again yesterday, despite the crappy weather (-42 with the wind at some points- Brrrrrr~)

I will try to get out of the office today again but it is still freaking freezing. I may opt for useing the stairwell for exercise.

Updated my post: slacked off yesterday, worked hard today, yay!

Mauvais, it's only -2 here, and I am almost afraid to walk to my car to drive around! I can't imagine what -42 must feel like. Stay warm, gurrl!

Liziness, good for you! Keep up the good work, and good luck with that Saturday morning plan!

Aphil, I'm looking forward to hearing how your show turns out - is it this weekend? I've never bellydanced, but I love some of the music that my mom had for bellydancing on vinyl growing up . Lots of Gypsy- and Arab-flavored guitar music with very interesting percussion, Yowza!

Yes-one of our shows is this weekend. I am in a group skirt piece...a drum trio...and a floorwork duet this time.

Yesterday I did 30 minutes of strength training, and I helped teach the first of a series of intensive belly dance beginning classes. YAY!!!

Just did Walk Away The Pounds 2 Mile High Calorie Burn Walk using light hand weights. (about 30 minutes long)

Here are my last few days that have not been recorded here yet:

Friday:30 minutes upper body strength training

Saturday:40 minutes lower body and abs strength training
*plus dance performance in the evening*

Sunday: WATP High Calorie Burn 2 Mile Walk with weights
