I unfortunately gained 1.5 back last weekthat brings me back up to 161.5 ( a total of 12 lbs lost but I think it was due to eating too much bread on the weekend and too many salty foods - I will have to work a little harder this week to get rid of it and then some if I want to reach my mini goal of a total of 15 lbs lost by April 5...sigh...
I know, and I'm ahead of schedule, because it was my summer goal. I am thrilled. I have only been using south beach, I haven't really even started exercising yet. Though I've had more energy and been doing other stuff. Just not actively trying to exercise yet.
Yay! I stepped on the scale this morning and I have lost the 1.5 I knew it was from lack of exercise last week and the salty food I had on the weekend!
Good Going Mauvais, and lizziness. I am down to 181. and trying hard for 178. gotta wash that weight right out of my haiiir. ( sung really badly offkey )
151 as of yesterday....17 pounds down since I started Atkins. Can't complete attribute it to the diet though, my work schedule has me down to the bare minimum of caloric intake and I keep catching this stupid stomach bug from the kids at the hospital. I would actually rather be eating.
Mauvais, Heather, Lizziness and Amyjo, you girls ROCK!
I'm down to 210, my summer goal is 199. Mauv & blu, I love garden sculpture I have a cat and a gnome, gonna have to look for a fairie.
I think I'm going to "hold my cards" at this weight for a month or two while I do some weightlifting on my upper body. Saggy skin and saggy boobs have suddenly become an issue, at least to me. And I need a pause so that my mind can catch up with all the changes I'm going through. My "body recognition" reflex needs recalibration, lol!
But I got into size 14 jeans and swimsuit yesterday, and even a size 10 shirt, oddly enough. There's such a huge variation in clothing sizes nowadays. Still, "experimental shopping" is a real ego boost, and it helps me keep in touch with the new "edges" of my body.
I'm thinking, if I get to the end of April and I haven't lost any more inches, it's back to 1400 calories a day, and carry on from there. That's today's hypothesis, anyway.
