ellis 03-27-2004 04:55 PM

Way to go, girls!! :hat:

30 minutes on elliptical
30 minutes on bike

SeekInnerThinChick 03-27-2004 05:07 PM

Hi there! Saturday, and everybody's playing!

20 min. elliptical, 30 minutes weights, 20 min. treadmill with a 14 min. jogging mile. Trying not to remember I used to do an 8 min. run easily. * sigh * OTOH, DH came out with me, did wieghts and elliptical. We'll get that pot off him yet!

blugirrl1 03-27-2004 05:12 PM

who?s playing? not me these beers are 12 oz apiece. repeated lifting come on major ab work ging on here.
OOPS did i post in the exercise thread, i was on the drinks thread. musta wondered over on my way to the bathroom.

SeekInnerThinChick 03-27-2004 08:03 PM

I'm right behind you on that, Heather-- there's a nice Cabernet with my name on it in the kitchen. Steak, potato, veggie, etc. Saturday night is "treat meal" night.

blugirrl1 03-28-2004 08:38 AM

well play day is over. back to business for me. WATP total 6 miles today.
my goal for the week is 34 miles. let's see how i do.
I also need to find something that targets my belly. what does everyone else do? should i just stick with regular crunches? for some reason all my weight is in my boob/belly area.

SeekInnerThinChick 03-28-2004 12:44 PM

I do most ab work in the pool. I can "get at" all the different muscles better, and still support my neck-- strain there gives me a migraine. Which, by rights, I ought to have today, since I drank an entire bottle of Oregon cabernet last night. Maybe dry wines are better than Pinot Noir?

lizziness 03-28-2004 02:06 PM

First time in months. I did my walk away the pounds morning mile video and some stretching/toning after. I'm already sore. Maybe if i did it more often... hmm.. :)

SeekInnerThinChick 03-30-2004 10:57 AM

Noodles, you're amazing. All that energy! If they could wire you up, you'd light all of Tuscon!

Frogsy 03-30-2004 01:37 PM

45 minutes of walking yesterday, even though I have 2 humongous blisters on my little toes and 2 smaller ones on the pad below my big toe (I have horribly sensitive feet and walked at the Relay for Life all weekend).

Not today...I'm dying here!! I HURT!! OUCH!!! Plus it's humid outside so that doesn't help matters any. I still managed to throw some wash in and later going to attempt to roller skate. Provided my joints/bones de-stiffen.

mauvaisroux 03-30-2004 08:00 PM

Good going Frogsy :cp:

Noodles- for heaven's sake take the day off before you do yourself an injury! :nono:

1 hour of bellydancing tonight :cb:

Jennifer 3FC 03-30-2004 08:55 PM

Today and yesterday I did 60 minutes each of the 4 Mile WATP video. Sunday I did 45 minutes Taebo Cardio. I didn't exercise Friday or Saturday because I was sick and I really missed it! I think I've achieved habitry.

Noodles913 03-30-2004 09:41 PM

Call me crazy...:spin:

I got a burst of energy so...I did 2½ hours of more gardening. I dug 3 big holes and planted an Orange tree, an Oak tree, and some cacti. This constitutes dig a little, wet the dirt, then dig a little more with a 15 lb. digging stick. Then add tree fertilizer and mix in bottom, stick tree in, fill up almost to top with dirt, add a bit more fertilizer, fill rest of way with dirt, then add mulch on top. Then I raked up all the dead tumbleweeds and what not..then filled in holes the dog dug, then moved more river rock. Also did 4 loads of laundry already. I'm tellin ya..I get my burst of energy after 3 PM! Plus we're calling for thunderstorms the rest of the week so I had to get this done!! No skating tonight though...too tired.

SeekInnerThinChick 03-30-2004 09:57 PM

LOL SITC!! I think I'm semi-panicking because we had these trees since SEPTEMBER and nothing has been done...now that my eye surgery is coming up I'm trying to squeeze in all of this stuff beforehand. Also because after March it is a bit too late to plant trees here. Oh and cause I am waiting until after eye surgery to join the gym so I'm trying to keep busy otherwise. Oh and cause I got tired of looking at dirt in the backyard. Oh and...I don't know why else... Just because I guess??

JIFFY That is great exercise!!! That's 3 hours of keeping busy!! You DO belong here...stay put or I'm getting the crazy glue out.

blugirrl1 03-31-2004 07:45 AM

I dunno about "crafty". I can't even sew a button.

Today...Noodles bowls. Today, that will be her ONLY exercise.

(I need a break from trees and shrubs and rocks and cacti!!)
