Today we finished the garage so we could get the car in. Moved a buncha stuff around and more up into the attic. THEN...came inside and did more work on the living room re-organization project. Put the huge mirror up, fixed the giant Philodendren plant I have to drape over it, then started putting the photos and knick nacks back. Purged over ½ of them into the sale bin!! YAY!! Worked on it for about 3 hours so I'm pooped!! Goal for tomorrow: Finish it all up and take pics!! All of this running back and forth is great exercise!! :D

My exercise was finishing the living room!! This is great when we do these types of things...I get organized, things get clean, and I get exercise!! What more could a person ask for??? :D |

Did about 45 minutes of light gardening...then ran around ragged shopping! (Hey..its the walking that gets you the exercise.. :D )

For 6 out of the last 7 days I've done an hour of exercise each day. I think that is a record for me! I did the 4 Mile WATP tape for all days except today. Today I did 30 minutes on the exercise bike and 45 on the treadmill. The bike was too loud, and finally the basement wasn't subzero, so I finished up on the treadmill.

I worked out for an hour tonite, then did 300 crunches, and have done that for 5 days this week! A definate record for me! Congrats to all of you have busted your tail too! |

8 hours of detailed house-cleaning. Everything sparkles!!! See what happens when I have company coming over...My poor FEET. Ouch!! But it's a good ouch. Also cleaned the rat cages & bathed the rats. :D |
wow everyone is just moving!! what a good thing. I did the 2 mile watp yesterday, and tons of shopping. been cleaning house all morning, and am fixing to do the 2 mile again.

oh my gawd. I am in so much pain. 90 minute walk, then 35 minutes on the bike, then 1 hour of excruciatingly intense weights and stretches with my trainer, then 1/2 hour walk home. And I have effin' yoga tonight. 90 minutes. I don't know if I can take it. I can barely walk.

I just did a lowly 15 minutes of yoga. But I feel like crap, cold/sinus issues & TOM starts today. :p But I did figure out that my Denise Austin yoga tape is MUCH better if you mute it and play a Simon & Garfunkel CD instead. |

well yesterday wimped out, i was only good for half of tae bo. i just ain't cordinated for the cardio. i really miss the tape i lost i loved doing that one.
oh well. got up this morning and the first thing i did was 2 mile WATP. gonna try for on afternoon session too. |

Heather, there's a man with a whip at my side. My new personal trainer. :rolleyes: YOU'RE doing GREAT, girl!! DH and I used to do the Tai-Bo tapes, and we loved them. I really liked the 20 minute one. The hour long was just too much for me. |

I started a new class today at school called Walking Fitness. I'm getting a credit to walk around at school for 40 minutes every Monday and Wednesday! Yay! So now it is Yoga Tuesday and Thursday (with an optional Friday class taught by a friend) and Walking every other day of the week (40 minutes M & W, 20 minutes Saturday and 1 hour Sunday). Plus BF and I just bought an exercise ball and I'm learning to do crunches on it, however right now I just can't seem to even balance on it. LOL!

Hi everyone. Is it o.k. if just jump in? Anyway, went to aqua-aerobics today, but the teacher, and all the other teachers, were on vacation due to Spring break. The director, seeing the confused and bereft expression on my face, let me in for free! Except for the swim team, I almost had the pool to myself. They had Bob Marley on the sound system, so I just did the hour's routine as usual. Pretty soothing, actually.

Thursday: joined gym, check. Three sections of treadmill, @ 20 minutes each: (1) "hills and valleys," (2) speed work, (3) big-stride slower stroll. Check, check. check. All-black ninja outfit with Giant Radioactive Shiny Sneakers. Check.
Tomorrow: arm, back, shoulder, and chest weight training, aka self-torture. Lime green T-shirt to bring out red in straining face. |
Sunday I cut my toe open on the bottom and haven't been able to do much!! Driving me nuts just sitting here...But I had too cause I kept doing stuff and then bowling last night opened up the wound again. Phoooey!!!!!
