20 minutes of yoga this morning,
walking to ww after supper and then walk back home :D

Noodles913 03-01-2004 08:32 PM

Monday

SIX hours of digging holes with a 15 pound digging stick, planting 48 groundcover plants, fertilizing, adding special "dirt", then re-covering. While doing this, I was also running back and forth with planks of wood and hoisting them up about 10 feet into the air into the new attic hole the father-in-law made. THEN we put the pull-down ladder in, which fell once and almost landed on me, then hauled more wood up the hole, then put the un-used wood back on the floor until tomorrow. I AM SORE!! OUCH!! But I have a buncha storage now AND I have pretty purple flowers!!

:flow1: :flow1: :flow1: :flow1: :flow1: :flow1:

mauvaisroux 03-02-2004 10:14 AM

Wow Noodles! :cp:

Twenty minutes of yoga this morning and an hour of bellydancing is in store for this evening.

Tomorrow I will be doing more bellydancing at noon.

Noodles913 03-02-2004 03:13 PM

Yeah...but Noodles HURTS today...Ouch!! And they want to finish the attic storage AND work on the garage door opener. AND mother-in-law brought me more plants to plant...So...I'm off again to dig dig plant plant. :flow1:

mauvaisroux 03-04-2004 03:59 PM

Walked to physio today then walked to work for a total of 45 minutes :tread:

Irish Tart 03-04-2004 04:21 PM

Hey Noodles, Wow you did great on all the planting and yard work. I'm glad that the stairs didn't fall on you. I have had some near misses myself and boy are they scarey! We are adding a new attic stairs to our house in a few months. Storage, oh sweet storage! Ahh, I am so glad for you!

Mauvais, Girl you are really doing great on the walking and belly dancing. You are not only losing weight but adding good muscle tone which is so much better than just quick weight loss that is jiggley! You are on your way to being a "Hot Momma"!!
woo-hoo!

mauvaisroux 03-04-2004 10:32 PM

Thanks Irish :)

I also walked home from work tonight and then danced at class for an hour - phew!!!

blugirrl1 03-05-2004 07:18 AM

Noodles, whew sounds like you need a nice hot bath, with some fresh cut flowers scenting the room., :)

Mauvais, You continue to inspire me. You are a woman of motion.

I have been walking home from my friends. and did some major house scrubbing. but the weather is getting nicer here. and i have noticed that i have been getting out and about more. so here is to winter hibernation ending.

mauvaisroux 03-05-2004 11:58 AM

Thanks Heather! :)

I should have abs of steel and major arm toning by the summer - especially after last night's class... all we practiced was arm movements holding tealights (unbreakable) in order to practice dancing with lit candles. You have to keep your palms out straight and your arms up the whole time to avoid dropping the candles or spilling wax . My biceps are killing me this morning

Noodles913 03-09-2004 01:13 AM

Monday

1 Hour Tennis
½ Hour Swimming

(It was 88° here today!! :sunny: )

Noodles913 03-10-2004 04:26 AM

Tuesday

Cleaned up the garage!
Moved junk!
Bathed the dog too!

(Today was even hotter...91°, so since she could dry outside, the stinky dog became a sweet-smelling dog! )

mauvaisroux 03-10-2004 07:29 AM

Tuesday:

40 minute walk to physio and then a 40 minute walk back to work. 1 hour of bellydancing.

Wednesday:

This morning did 30 minutes of pilates :cb:

blugirrl1 03-10-2004 07:36 AM

woohoo mauvais.. pilates. that is supose to be major body sculpting. you will have to let me know how it goes. the dancing with candles sounds really neat.

Noodles. 91 degrees? that is it, expect me to move into your garage pronto, lol. we had sunny days and then the past two days have been snow flurries. go figure.

yesterday i walked and helped tina do her paper route. same for today.

Noodles913 03-10-2004 08:52 AM

Yeah...we've been breaking records around here. I'm not complaining! 90° & up is perfect for ol' Noodles here. :D

Since I'm UP so EARLY...I am going to attempt to ride my bike down to the pool and swim for 45 minutes. Then go and dig some holes for the trees that we bought in September but never got planted.

becgris 03-10-2004 06:11 PM

I finally walked!!!! Well, I figured that since it was spring break from work and I had no excuses like getting home late, or being busy or tired, then I should get out on this beautiful day and have a walk in the park that is only a block away. It was nice, a little too windy, but nice to know that I finally willed myself into exercise. I could only make myself go around the park twice, but I'm truly grateful that my legs did not give out on me! ;)

Noodles913 03-10-2004 07:02 PM

Wednesday

Bowling Tonight!! :D
Walked to the wash and back with the dog...
Ran around cleaning, folding, washing, etc...
