Amyjo- I know what you mean!
The malls in our area are divided into 3 categories. The first floor of the mall is usually the food court, drugstore 2 cheapie clothing stores for size 2's only, newsagents etc. The second floor is the cheap stores for teen's and the shoe stores. The third floor is all high priced stores featuring mostly suits/business attire, sportwear and gowns that you really have no place to wear unless you are part of the ladies who lunch/cocktail party soiree crowd.
There seems to be no in between!

I am 36 years old, modern thinking, my DH is in a techno rock band, I still go out clubbing and I not ready for Talbots!!!! I also can't shop on the 2nd floor unless I want to look like I am trying to pretend I am 21!

Looking youthful is one thing, looking like you are trying to desperately hold on to your youth is another! I don't want look frumpy but I don't want to look like some cougar either!
