I think I will quit posting that I excercised since I keep a detailed log of my weightlifting and aerobics sessions. You gals can check on me from time to time. BUT I AM DOING AWESOME. Got a killer upper body workout last night and looking forward to my aerobic interval today.

Hey Ellis, I have theCallenetics books as well.
When I gained fifty pounds two years ago
I lost a lot of my flexibliity because I stopped being active.
I am doing the motified, motified versions of this tape.
The beauty of this is that it still works. Each time
I do it I am able to stretch out a little more.I use a little stool to do the leg stretches and
for the ambs i keep my knees bent and just
do what I can. The hardest part for me is the hip
exercises .I am glad that I rediscovered it.

I'm sorry that you have been sick. I hope that you feel better
soon. A few days of rest will do you good.

Chris, you lazy lump of love, you! How are we to know if you've REALLY exercised!?

Ya-Ya, thank you for the well wishes!
I love Callan's exercises, but I hate that the workout is an hour long. I'm lazy, and unless I'm at the Y or a class, I can't seem to commit to an hour's workout.
I may do just some of the exercises...
I think my tape was made in the '80's. It irritates me because it's dated. And the music drives me right up the wall!
I also have an audio tape of the workout...
I think I have too much stuff...

Well I had I great aerobic interval tonight. I walked down to the gym and got on the treadmill and at 3.7 mph I thought I was at an intensity of about a 5. Immediately I start thinking what is wrong with me!!! As I got warmed up though I got faster and faster. My 10 was 4.7 mph jog and I was 45 seconds in and almost gave up then I realized whats 15 secs! So I finished. It was a great workout!! Tommorow Lower Body!!

I was soooo proud of myself. My creative writing class gets out a 9:30pm and I still went to the Y to work out for an hour.

Tonight I meet with a trainer on how to use the machines. Yay me!

Lower Body Workout and walked to and from the gym. My legs are screaming for mercy. I did not even go up on weights so I have no idea why.

Tonight: walk the planet!

I walked 25 minutes with the stroller. We picked streets with no sidewalks so I wouldn't have to deal with curbs!!!! I will try to get out again tonight, if not I go up and down stairs!

I walked a very brisk 55 minutes. 2nd walk of the day!!! See what I ate for dinner and you'll see my modivation! I don't normally walk after dark, but it is no excuse month! I figured I was safer here than I was in Las Vegas! I still told my honey my path and only took streets with street lamps! I am such a fraidy cat! I am curious how far it was. Tomorrow I will drive the route. I actually had to slow down a bit cause I wouldn't been able to talk to anyone. I want to burn fat not muscle!

Talking Whoo hoo!

Ok, I did it! I actually got off my butt and went for a nice walk... about 45 minutes maybe. Nothing too strenuous, but enough to get the blood moving and the heart pumping. It felt great! Of course, it really helped that it is BEAUTIFUL out today... over 50F which seems a miracle after our dreary cold winter. And the sun is even out today! Its amazing what a little sunshine and exercise does to my spirits. I'm also fairly motivated to exercise all of a sudden, with the daunting thought of baring my chubby thighs in a swim suit in just two weeks.

Went to the zoo with the family today and walked a lot - we were there about 3 hours and walked at least half of that time if not a bit more...don't know the miles, but at least 3!

And I walked 2 miles yesterday. Need to get back to lifting weights and doing toning exercises though. And I am probably going to start running next week, as spring is here at last!
