A big YAY to those of you who are doing such a good job staying OP!!

This weekend has been a challenge for me, with the family in for 2 separate dinners! Thank goodness for veggies and fruit to fall back on. I keep thinking of all the good, fresh veggies we all will have in just a few weeks and months. Lettuce grows so fast! Tomatoes right off the vine are my favorites. I never get tired of them!

I hope you had a good weekend.

Good job for staying OP Jane! I seemed to have had a food weekend. The soccer moms took the soccer coaches out to a fancy restaurant on Friday, I had a date on Saturday (we cooked in, had wine, etc.) and my older son and 3 friends from college visited for the weekend, so I was a cooking fool for them, with a huge brunch on Sunday, etc. I dread the WW weigh in on Tuesday, and I'm trying to be extra good now. Although it was sunny here yesterday, the cold wind kept me from taking a long walk. Listen to me, I sound like a fountain of excuses!

WebWoman - "fountain of excuses" HAHA, that's a good one that I'll have to remember. It really is hard, though, to be a family cook and stay perfectly OP. Sunday is my treat day (not cheat day) so I allow extra calories/points for then, but sometimes it's not easy to limit them. Off topic: was your date fun?

A big hello to anyone else reading this.

Like you, Jane, Sunday is my treat day. I try to be a little careful still and yesterday I thought I went too far over but surprisingly my weight was actually down this morning. May not last but it was fun to see it.

So far today I'm fine.

Yes, I always enjoy spending time with my guy. I've been seeing him for several years, but hesitate to call him a "boyfriend" at our age HAHA. SIGO sounds awkward, too!

Webwoman - yes, there is no appropriate sounding name for a boyfriend at our age. My sister skips the whole thing, and just introduces her BF by his first name, lol. I guess "boy toy" and "arm candy" aren't politically correct, haha!

Ladies, I will be unavailable for the next few days. Supermod Ruthxxx has agreed to check in, so if you need help with anything 3FC related, please let her know. Have a good week!

Good morning Counters. Quick check in from Juneau....sounds like we are still going strong. I hit 245 this morning for an official loss of 31 pounds so far, and only 97 more to go!!! It sounds so much more do-able than 128 pounds to lose. I can do this!!!

Doing well today on both calories and carbs. Of course evenings are the true test but it may help today that we are having dinner very late. It is 7:40 pm and it is still in the oven. ;-) It is barbecue chicken, mashed potatoes and grilled zucchini. It is a low-carb barbecue sauce so mostly the only carb I have to careful of is the potatoes. And I love potatos! But I will be careful, I promise.

Good Morning! I'm still here , I read all the posts, I just don't post alot, often because I've already said anything that comes to mind in the GG's and I do belong to other forums where you get heck for cross posting - writing the same thing in more than one thread Have a great day everyone and watch out for those April Fools "jokes", most of them are as funny as a train wreck.

Hi all, good to hear that most of you are doing well. Congrats Bunti for your loss (weight, that is!). I was doing ok this week, but we had pizza yesterday, and I'm sure it ate up (get it?) most of my extra points, although I just had 2 pieces. We all have foods that are almost impossible to resist, and for me, it's Pizza although we rarely have it. Oh well, try, try again.

So far so good overall although I did eat too many calories and carbs this afternoon so will have to be VERY careful this evening. My bs is doing better. Still a little high in am but good this afternoon. Now that I'm back to the gym (our membership started again today), that should help too. I worked out a little over an hour.

webwoman - I can't resist pizza either! The things that are the hardest for me are pizza, ice cream, popcorn, chips and most any baked sweets. I don't bake any more and if we really want something we buy only enough for the two of us to have one serving each. Same with ice cream except a few times a year I buy those sugar-free fudgesicles. I do buy popcorn occasionally and have a tendency to eat too much...not good for my bs but not really that bad on calories. Chips we almost never have in the house..occasionally we get some when traveling or we share a small bag at Subway. My dh does buy bags of those little snack-size bars. His bs sometimes drops really low and he keeps them in the car for that. He hides the bags and I know they are his so I don't go looking. LOL but he gives me one now and then.

Aaaghhh. Tough time while traveling, but I am back on plan now. Seems like at work they are trying to test my will power, but I am not going to get caught with no healthy snacks. I used many of my weeklies this week, but still have activity points. So when all is said and done, I guess its okay.

We can do this, ladies!!

Hi ladies,

I'm back from Chicago, and have to get out to the grocery for fresh produce. I'll try and pop in later for individuals. Dorothy was right - There's no place like home!
